I think that it should be turning on when....

wait @DanJiblets is here! Help Dan, you have several of these!!
This was pretty weird. I'm rarely in this new member section. I stumbled on this thread and read through the whole thing. I got all the way to the one you tagged me in and then the notification showed up lol. Strange.

I was typing, looked down and saw your name as viewing the thread. I thought, cool, I'll tag him. Pretty cool on the timing, eh?

I got it last Thursday. It's still got the green light on it's been charging for 5 hours now

After reading this, I agree with @AndriaD, I think something could be wrong with it. It just doesn't sound right.

Yeah, that's definitely not right. Best idea would be, unplug it, and see about returning it. Since you don't really know if it's charging or overcharging or what, keeping it plugged in is probably a really bad idea. Overcharged batteries tend to go BOOM! FIRE EVERYWHERE! It's pretty awful.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for contacting INNOKIN.

Did you turn ON the bottom switch , then plugged in the unit ? If the switch is closed, the charging current will be small, so it takes a long time.

I messagesd innokin also and that is the reply I got

Well that was not the reply I expected. I thought the user manual said the switch needed to be turned off on the bottom. How weird is that? Well, good info, may try this when I charge mine tonight, although I've had no problems with the way I've been doing it (turning it off with clicks and on bottom). Learn something new every day!

I never turn mine off at all, when I charge. And it's never taken more than 2 hrs, even when it started off in the yellow. If it takes longer, I highly recommend unplugging it, because it might be overcharging, which is a disaster waiting to happen.

My CF4 charges to 4.16v if I switch it off and let it charge, and charges to 4.15v if its on and I use it whilst its charging (pass through)

this is my first mod box, but by far not my first use of charging LiPo batteries, I also fly very high powered professional RC helicopters, those use 6 cell 22.2volt LiPo's and require a balance charger, they charge to 4.2v per cell, but in my experience, using them and charging them all the time (each battery only last 10mins of flight) they begin to swell up, thankfully that is a swelling you can see, I would hate to think what would happen if that same swelling happened inside my CF4 without me knowing, when these RC batteries swell, its time to dig a hole in the garden and burry it for 6 months before disposing of it, otherwise, continued use and its bye bye £1000 heli in a ball of flames, ive posted a picture below of the swelling I'm talking about, both in a mobile phone and an RC heli Lipo, great battery invention, extremely dangerous though, 4.15v to me is a safety thing not a fault.

And this is caused from full charging and discharging all the time:

I've seen a video online, that was posted here in this forum, of what happens when LIPO batteries are overcharged... "ball of flame" is putting it MILDLY! EXPLOSION of flame is nearer the mark...

Mine is still charging and it's been 2 hours. It felt warm awhile ago, but it's cool now, maybe it's getting almost done. Also, how is everyone charging their's? With wall wort on on computer? I have mine plugged into the computer.
I read somewhere it's not recommended to charge up by computer and yeah it will be slower. I use a wall plug
