innokin fake products

Hi all!
I am a new member and I am looking for some advice on innokin products, mainly, the I taste mvp3.
I have been looking at some for sale on Ali express. If your not aware of .........., it has many different stores and sellers that ship products directly from China and Singapore etc (sorry if you are aware but just trying to be as clear as possible).
Generally, are there many fake innokin products out there? You can get them for around £30 on there but they retail at around £55 on UK sites. This makes me a little sceptical as usually when something seems too good to be true, it usually is!

I only buy from trusted vendors. Never from China I don't care what anyone else says. MVP 3.0 should go from 55-65 USD. Don't know what that translates in to British pounds but go to Innokin's website and search for vendors in the U.K. Good luck Jake. Welcome to the forum.

There will also be a scratch code that you can verify through the Innokin website to make sure your device is authentic. I would hate for someone to order from Alibaba or Fastech and find out their device is fake. Personally it would be worth the extra pounds to know the piece is authentic.

Some China sites (like fasttech) will say in the description if they are "authentic" Innokin or Innokin "style". You have to read very carefully. Good Luck

I just looked at fasttech and they do have Authentic Innokin products. I have ordered from them several times and was very satisfied.

Alibaba, ali express and many other aggregate sites are filled wth copies, I second fasttech or checking their site for a vender also

wont buy chinese made products because the store selling them Is also in china, gotta love it.

Also, with the MVP read the description very carefully. Some places are calling the 20 W MVP a three, and it is not. The actual three will go to 30 W and work with lower ohms. The 20 W is also good, but only if that's what you're intending to get.

You think that they're fake because of the price differences? Over here eicg products vary greatly in price also. The MVP is awesome for the price, cheap doesn't mean it's a lousy product at all.

MVP over here goes from $39 to $69 or higher.

I was just on that site and they are indeed calling the MVP 20w the MVP 3.0. As amoret said, read the description carefully.

Thats understandable. In a lot of cases its more then a few bucks though. Got an atty for 15 stateside wanted 30 ish.

depends what you get and if you need it now or not got my nemesis for 14. Online here is 30s 40s I can wait 2 weeks.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have heard fasttech are pretty good. I'm torn between a itaste mvp3 and an istick 50w. The istick works out cheaper with the bonus of added watts and larger bat. I noticed that the mvp 20w is being advertised as the mvp3 so I may just get the istick from fasttech.

1 GBP is roughly about 1.50 USD give or take a penny here and there. What I have found is that prices in the brick and mortars in the UK is generally the same numerically as the prices in the US, except it is in GBP and not USD (i.e. a sandwich here can cost 5 USD whereas the same sandwich in the UK will cost 5 GBP). That said, some items such as electronics can be significantly more in Europe as compared to the US. For example, an iPhone at full retail may cost 600 USD here, but it may sell for 700 GBP there. The same would go for something like video game systems such as the PS4 or XBox Ones.

I would say go with the MVP 30W. Thanks jseah. Wasn't too sure about the exchange rate. I know it can vary daily. I was going to get into currency trading online at one point. It seems like it could be very lucrative.

Most of us understand the market all too well jdprice.

There thousands of places where you can buy fake e-cig products at the drop of a hat, and a drop on your wallet.

The only thing that big vendors care about is keeping on selling. Some protect this by selling only genuine products when they say it is genuine (or authentic in the case of one vendor). If a huge worldwide vendor has a reputation to uphold, you can buy with confidence.

I've never heard of a counterfeit MVP.

However, FastTech's prices for the MVP's are not the best; in fact they can usually be found cheaper in the US (not sure about the UK).

For some of the authentic gear, FT needs to follow a "Minimum Pricing" rule, so that's the one area they often are not competitive in.

Many pieces are hardware are made in China and defective pieces make "some" money if they are sold. Also, there are smaller companies that copy 1 for 1. As was said, the words Authentic" and "style" are key.

Actually, I buy my mods from reputable U.S. dealers. Just more comfortable.
