A Protank 2 or 3 will work fine with your MVP. The only thing you would need to buy would be extra replacement coils. They usually come in 5 packs.

The Protanks are somewhat older tech right now. I think a better glass tank is the GS Air M/MS because it has air flow adjustment. It is about the same price as a Protank.

The PT3 is all my wife uses. She quit smoking at the same time I did, but that's where our interests differ. She has no intention of upgrading even though I've given here much better. I on the other hand left behind my PT years ago.

About the best I could do for her was to rebuild her PT3 coils with cotton and not silica.

The Pro-tank is older tech. That said, I used them back in the day, and they're good tanks. I personally preferred the Kanger AeroTank in the same generation; it's the same thing as the ProTank, except it comes from the factory with the air-adjust mechanism which must be bought separately for the ProTank. A more modern tank would be the Aspire Nautilus or the Aspire Atlantis. If you really want a ProTank, or something else like that, you can buy them used cheaply, too. I've got a half dozen or more I'd sell cheaply to somebody who'd use them, for example.

While the Protank family work well with the MVP, I recommend the Nautilus IMHO it's top of the line in (non sub Ohm) tanks until you get to rebuildables. The MVP and Nautilus combo is not only my recommended starter kit for average users, but what I've given to friends ad family to get them off death sticks. I wish you luck however your journey takes you. Cheers!

Also not the MVP2 cannot fire sub Ohm tanks. This means no Atlantis, Arctic, Kanger Sub tank, or the like.
