Innokin Itaste SVD or Innokin Itaste MVP...Which should I get?

A buddy of mine will trade me my choice of either of these Innokin mods for one of my homemade box mods. Price wise...I win...big time! But which should I trade for? I have the batteries to work with the SVD, and I'll be getting a decent charger. I'm using 18650 by the way. I like the ohm reading option, but I do have a multimeter at home so I suppose I don't have to have that option.

What would you guys recommend?

I don't have an SVD so I'm not qualified to really give an opinion on them. However I do have an MVP and LOVE it. The thing works great. I already had a tube mod so that pushed me toward the MVP as well. Wanted to try out a box mod. Battery life on the MVP is insane. Build quality is great. And it charges your cell phone in an emergency! Can't say enough about this device and highly recommend it to anyone. Good luck with your decision.

With the MVP, what happens when its battery goes dead (completely dead)? What type of battery does it use?

I've never tried the SVD. I have been rocking the MVP as of late and I am loving it! Its a great mid-level mod that delivers consistent vapes with excellent flavor. I use Vivis with it and the combo is fantastic...I get the best flavor out of my clearo's off the mvp. The battery life is nuts, you can go days without charging it. I really couldn't recommend it more.

It's also built like a tank and has some heft to it, which feels nice.

Im a fairly new Vaper but I just got in my MVP and I love it!!! That thing is solid! And my newbie behind had it set half-way and it nearly knocked me on my kiester! Needless to say I turned the voltage way down

Thanks Benny. That's what I'm weighing. That long battery life and "heft" vs. the look of the SVD which I like. Although, I watched a review last night and with an 18650 and it (the SVD) appears to be the size of a T-Ball bat.

Vapor Vinny, it has a built in battery so you just plug it in and you can use it as a passthrough if you need to. I just got one and i really like it alot, i get good battery life out of it(10-12 hrs). it lasts me all day, i do need to charge it every night tho. the light gos yellow when its low and then red till its dead.

2600 MAH lion battery.. Not sure what happens when it dies completely (my guess is it just charges back up). The device gives you indication of how much power it has left via the led light changing color (green to yellow to red)

The svd is huge! The MVP is just right, it really feels the best of ANY mod I've held

I can't speak for the SVD but i love my MVP. Fits good in the hand, excellent battery life between charges, variable voltage, soilidly built top notch device for the price.

Unfortunately this is a drawback of the MVP once that batt is dead its dead. However i still highly recommend it.

The SVD is HUGE, but it sure is sexy looking. And it has VW as well as VV and all the bells and whistles (which the MVP will have eventually, but not yet). It's a good home-based mod, but might scare the country folk

The MVP is rock solid, lasted days on end, can charge your cellphone in a pinch, and feels great in the hand. Love my MVP.

The SVD is an inch longer than a Provari and the build quality is average. The bottom cap is plated base metal and the threading is poor. The 510 connector doesn't look as though it would take much to strip the threading. Saying that, it does what it does and is a good price. It also looks quirky which i like.
The MVP just feels better quality.
As for all the people saying what happens when the battery runs out on the MVP. For me i would expect that to happen way after the SVD has stopped working or broken.
Both PV's are good at what they do but i would go for the MVP all day long.

Thanks folks. I'll probably go with the MVP even though I have tons of homemade box mods, and my only tube mods are made from flashlights I got at the Dollar Tree.

I love both devices, but would recommend the SVD over the MVP. As others have mentioned, the SVD has the advantage of replaceable batteries. The stainless steel body of the SVD is great for the price. You also get the advantage of variable wattage.

As many others have already said...it is a built in battery and therefore can't be replaced. However I can go 3 full days and part of the 4th on one charge. I don't consider myself a heavy vaper though. I go through about 4-6mils a day depending on my mood and activity.

I really liked my MVP, but the USB charging port broke off after three months. Supposedly they have fixed that in the current iteration, but I'm going to replace it with a tube mod (Provari or Provari mini)
