Hi, I have just joined this forum, a big hello to everyone, I have an innokin vtr and the thread seems to have threaded so the thank won't tighten. Is there an adapter ring that can be bought, is this a common problem, Iv'e had this tool about eight months, thanks

That's a real bummer that your VTR has that problem.

I don't know of any "ring" that will work to repair/replace stripped threads on a VTR. The problem is not uncommon. I've heard several stories about the threads and the spinning ring causing problems.

I found a .pdf that details how one person replaced the 510 connector on a VTR. You would need some tools, some parts and a certain amount of skill to accomplish the repair. http://dereknolanphotography.com/downloads/Innokin_VTR_Repair.pdf
