I've read where several people have received V2 from FT recently, even though the descriptions aren't updated. I have one on the way... hope it's a V2.

It looks like they are shipping V2. It says that any orders after 8/30 are getting the V2.

I had an MVP 1.0 and used it all the time. I have multiple days where I go straight from work to school and vice versa. I would just bring a few Protanks full of juice and I would be good to go for the whole day. I sold my 1.0 on the classifieds when the MVP 2.0 started on a co-op. I just got my 2.0 and I'm really digging this guy. The iClear30 that came with it is just meh..., but the device itself is pretty fantastic. After having VW on several other devices, it really is a great option. Plus, the ohm reader is a plus for those of us that build our own atomizers.

I have one on the way as well, and when I asked if it was V1 or V2, this was FT's response:

"Yes, we started shipping the Version 2 from 30th August.

You will receive what you want.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
"

:) :) :)

As far as aesthetics go, you are right, it is ugly, but I have yet to find a functional mod that is not ugly. The SVD is just as bulky, except it is longer and is tube, rather than a box.

The battery life is exactly what most MVP users like it for. I have never had my MVP die while I am out and about. That is why I don't bring the charging cord with me. I imagine I could go 2 or 3 days without charging the MVP before the battery was completely used. Maybe the SVD could go that long if you had the right battery in it, but in 18650 mode, it is probably bigger than the MVP.
