Greetings!

While I'm new to ECF, I've been vaping for almost 2 years now, even though I just recently kicked the analogs. Like so many others, I moved from the eGo to the eGo-V V3 VV/VW, to a VV/VW mod (SVD). My introduction to VV/VW was accidental, as a retailer sent me the eGo V3 instead of a replacement tank by accident. VW opened new doors, and I've been amazed at the difference that VW has made.

Here is my issue - I'm using a Fogger RBA that I've made a 1.4 coil for, but it is EATING my MNKE 1500 18650's ALIVE. They're down from 4.1v to 3.6v in less than an hour. Granted, I am using a really crappy charger (have a Nitecore i4 on the way), and my SVD is getting pretty hot using the Fogger at 9w. This also happens with my Kanger Pro tank 2 running a 2.2 coil at 6 watts.

My question - is my battery and/or mod shot, should I wait for the Nitecore charger and see if it makes a difference, or just replace everything and start over? I'm getting a tad bummed that this setup is dying so fast.

Thoughts/advice?

Thanks!

I don't have any experience with MNKE batteries, but I do use AW 1600 batteries in my SVD and my batteries will normally last me at least 8 hours before dropping to 3.6v. The crappy charger probably isn't helping but I would imagine the batteries are a bigger issue. I am by no means a battery expert but have never seen the MNKE suggested by anyone as a good battery.

Thanks, rhunpenny. Narrowed it down last night. The battery was taking less than 900 mAh on charge from 3.3v, so there was definitely an issue with the battery. Fortunately, my local shop replaced the battery for me, and I picked up a Sony VT4 in a trade, so I'm good. I also am sending back the Nitecore i4, as I picked up aneFest LUC for $23.00.

Appreciate the help!
