+1 on Chawk's comment - drastically reduce your nic strength in the evening. If that's too expensive an option buying a bunch more juices in a lesser strength, buy some VG and add some to a separate small bottle - say 50/50 - with the juices you do have (or the PG/VG ratio of your choice of course). It will reduce the flavor but it's a quick fix if cash is tight.

I have the opposite problem. Can fall asleep no problem. Just can't stay asleep...

I think that would be more annoying than having trouble falling asleep, I know I can't stand it when I wake up soon after falling asleep, but that's usually because it took me so long to get to sleep

I've had the same problem every time I've stopped smoking in the past. Insomnia came in after a couple of weeks, and lasted a couple more. I would lay in bed wide awake. Weirdly enough, I was feeling good during the day, not anywhere close to how I feel when I don't get enough sleep.

I'm a pretty good sleeper and never suffered from insomnia, except for these few weeks, every time I would stop smoking. I always thought it was nicotine withdrawal. I would usually take the patch off right before going to bed. But then, when I smoked, I would smoke right before going to bed, too, and I smoked much more at home than I did during the day. So... I don't know. I'm 100% sure it was due to my quitting smoking (happened every.single.time like clockwork).

This time, I'm not using patches, I'm vaping, and so far, no problems. I sleep well. Other people told you that lowering nic intake in the evening did the trick for them - I'd advise you to do just that. In any case, if it's related to you not smoking anymore, it will hopefully pass after a couple of weeks.

I only had one 6 mg at first. It worked out. Honestly after school ends in a couple days I think I may try to go 6mg all the way. But $wise, I only used that one bottle I bought as a sample for a couple bucks to see if it would help and yes it sure did. I honestly couldn't believe I didn't nic fit at that level but I don't.

I haven't been to sleep since Monday...........seriously. But atleast thanks to ecf, I always have something to read. :D
Ha... give me a week. I swear it happens every summer. I get laid off and within a week I am so rested I am unable to sleep! #1 reason I'm going to lower my levels then..

When I stopped smoking I suffered as well. The first 2 weeks I slept a total of 3 hours. But then I crashed out for a whole weekend and I am fine now. I wasn't tired. Just really restless and unable to sleep. Checked some quit smoking boards and it is normal. Not Vaping related. It even happens to the cold turkey quitters.

Well, I'm at that stage in life where I get up every couple of hours to pee and wander around the house. However, I did have some bouts with sleeplessness in the beginning. There are IMO several possible causes.

1. Too much nic. Try dropping the nic level or at least dropping in in the evening before bedtime.

2. Just normal from smoking cessation. Not much to do but wait it out.

3. More energy from better breathing. Get some exercise.

4. Not enough nic (the jitters).

5. Too much caffeine. At least in my experience, vaping, coffee, and other stimulants like sugar, combined to over stimulate me. I cut my caffeine and sugar intake.

I still get up every couple of hours, but I get more naps.

wouldnt the opposite be sleeping too much and not being able to wake up... or narcolepsy? Falling asleep and waking up doesnt seem like the opposite, it seems quite similar actually
