I have a 1210W. The light will turn green when the batteries are charged. A pair of 14500s should be done in a couple of hours or so.

The switch should be set to the 4.2v position for those batteries. If it isn't, set it to 4.2v and try again.

If that isn't it, try charging them one at a time. Try one slot and then the other. See how that goes.

That charger has a 650 mah output for one slot or 325 mah per slot when both slots are filled. So, it will charge pretty much twice as fast with one battery than it will with two.

I'll be interested to hear what happens. Using one slot can also isolate if it is one bad battery or if it's the charger. That charger only has one LED so if any battery in the pair is charging still, then it stays red and has no way to display that one battery is charged and the other is not. If you have a bad battery, then it might not charge properly and the charger continues to display the red light....

I've had that happen.

Also, sometimes charging faster (or even slower in some cases) can get a battery working right again if it is having a problem. Electrolyte formulas are finicky sometimes, so giving them a nudge by fast charging or letting them charge forever on a very slow charger can sometimes get the electrolyte reacting the way it is supposed to. So, if one of your batteries turns out to be bad, then there is also a chance to get it working right by fast charging it at the full 650 mah once or twice.

Hmm, not sure it's working right. I tried charging one set of batteries one at a time for a couple of hours but the light never turned green and now using the batteries in my vv they didn't last very long at all.

One thing I think that's weird is that without batteries in it and it's plugged in the LED is red. I was thinking that it shouldn't even be lit when there are no batteries are in it. I have two sets of batteries and neither set ever goes green even charged over night. A little scared of charging them too long but I'll try changing the switch to 3.6v setting and see how that goes.

Thanks again for your help.

Update: I did request an RMA from MadVapes and they agreed but then I figured out the cost of shipping it to them and getting it shipped back did not make it worth the time since it's such a low-ticket item (would have cost me more in shipping than buying a new one)

I did get a new charger but this time the Trustfire charger which is working just fine. Without the batteries in, the lights are green and when discharged batteries are put in, it goes red. Then about 2 hours later the lights are green and the batteries are fully charged. Awesome. The only thing it doesn't have is the car charger which is a shame but I don't drive much so not much of a problem and with two sets of batteries that should last you a couple of days of heavy vaping and enough for a road trip until you can get into an outlet.

Thanks so much for you help.

.

Check the hole in the side of trustfire charger. Does the car charger from the 1210W fit it? I've never tried, but I assumed it would.
