need help with new charger please and thanks in advance

i recently purchased this HG-1210W Lithium Ion Battery Charge and in the description is says 4.6 v for li ion batts and 3.6 for li po batteries but the li ion batteries i have (ultrafire 18650's) are 3.7 v so which should i use ?

My hg1210 has 4.2v or 3.6v options and I charge all my 3.7v batts on the 4.2v option.....

the ultra 18650 is a lithium ion battery so you would use the 4.2v option. You would use that setting for any lithium ion battery

alright thanks also when i put the battery on the light goes red then an hour or two
later it starts blinking red real fast is that normal or do i have a dud ?

It should go green at some point. Mind you, 18650's can take hours to charge.

Normal battery safety, do not leave the battery plugged in over night. When the light goes green, take it off the charger. Cheaper chargers dont have the best, or any, overcharge protection.

i know the 3.7v messes up a lot of newer people but i know that a li-ion when fully charger is 4.2v . they have the same chemistry as a li-po and i use li-po batteries in my hobby. i just wish the battery wasn't so big or i would use my 7.4v 10000 mah in a vv mod
