Hello everyone, new member hereI have some questions.Okay, here we go.How long does the battery normally last? How about the atomizer? I had the evo for 4 days now,so far so good.Trying to decide to order a few atomizers for my intellicig or get a different e-cig.I want two complete units-one for home-one at work.I hear some say the atomizer last about 2-3 weeks, and I heard they last for 6 months! There is a big difference here!My experience with the battery using it a lot generously lasts around 3-4 hours.I can't evaluate about the atomizer since I only had it 4 days now. Here's one for the cart-on a prefilled cart, how often can you refill it after it's empty?I realize that the filler needs to be cleaned ever so often with hot water and dried.Or can yu buy blank carts to be filled with juice? This might be a stupid question but can we put 2 of the fillers in one cart to hold more juice?they seem so small to hold much.Sorry for all the questions, but as a newbie,I need all the help I can get! Thanks in advance for any replies!!

Hey alanmeg.

First welcome to ECF ;)

Now some answers:

Battery time sounds about the same as I get with my EVOs.

Atomizer life I can't help with as mine are only a couple weeks old. I do know that I have stuck to using just one for majority of that time. I did break my first one but that was no fault of the product it was because I had it between my thumb and finger and accidentally squeezed it and broke the bridge when I stubbed my toe.

While it definitely doesn't hurt to try out other types since you are new at it, if you are happy with the EVO and want a second setup for just at home I would point you to http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...4327-fs-liquids-510-801-401-magnum-stuff.html firhill (one of the other members here) has a Black M402 Intellicig USB set (Intellicig branded 402 Battery and atomiser)
plus 5 carts , a USB charger and a retractable cord passthrough. $29 which is a good deal. I've never dealt with him but he is a long time member here and has sold to others. But that's a matter of personal preference if you want to buy that way or just from a vendor.

As far as how often you can refill a cart. I'm home way to much these days and so out of the 50 carts I received from Intellicig I have only opened about 6 so far and have mainly been refilling the same one or two for almost 3 weeks now without a problem. And I haven't even started "washing" the polyfill yet.

You definitely don't want to put a second piece of filler into the same cart as they will actually leave less room for liquid.

No reason to be sorry for asking for advice. You'll find alot of helpful people on this forum.

Hope this helps.

lol thanks and yw.

the filler material is to absorb and wick the material to the bridge of the atomizer but the less material in the cart the more liquid you can fit. Just feeds it to your atomizer and keeps it from running out of the cart to fast. But if you put more of it in the cart then it will take up more space thus leaving less space for the liquid itself.

and as to the length of life on the carts, as long as you get used to tasting/telling when the cart is about empty then you won't end up burning the polyfill which will keep it usable.

I heartily echo Thyestean's welcome to ECF!

The downside of shorter e-cigs like the 510 and 401 and (especially) 402 is puffs per battery charge. For some time now, the 510 has had a PCC (personal charging case) to buttress that (i.e., by the time the battery you are using poops out the other battery has become fully charged) even when you are away from a USB port or wall outlet.

Smoore users have been waiting and waiting for their own PCC. It appears that wait is finally over. I see that a supplier named Sharp Smoker (about which I know nothing*) now carries a 401/402 PCC (for $26). Kevin* describes and demonstrates it in this video:
* Kevin looks familiar, but I can't place him.

It looks neat. [That shape and non-logo'd matte black finish remind me of the obelisk from 2001.:)]

[BTW, I sometimes write posts as if they were advertising copy. Those on ECF who know me are aware that I have no affiliation with any supplier (other than a very brief stint for NHaler:D). For example, glance through the WWV Illustrated Guide linked in my signature.]

As for that $29 "Black M402 Intellicig USB set" mentioned by Thyestean, if it only contains one battery, you might be better off getting a two-battery set from LiteCigUSA.net for $37 (or their two-battery, two-atomizer set for $43).

Enjoy your exploration of this wonderful world of vaping, alanmeg!

hmmm... Don do you know if that is the actual Smoore PCC?

Not second guessing you I'm actually curious. I've only seen posts about another one that didn't fit all m4xx batteries just certain ones. Also the fact that the pcc he is showing in the video (taken a month ago) isn't the same as the one they are using for their advertising on the site makes me skeptical.

Just to clarify my suggestion of the set from the Classifieds section here on ECF. I knew that alanmeg had just read my thread containing an Intellicig review and therefore had seen links to other Intellicig dealers. Having seen that posting and being that it was a good price and had 1 battery and a PT, which is a nice option when looking for a second kit for home, just thought I would throw it out there as another option.

Also I would have to agree that if you want to try other m4xx model products, along with other models, Shawn at LiteCigUSA is trustworthy and good to deal with. ;)

Don,more great info.I really do think two attys and batteries if what I need.Does the set come with an ac charger?Considering I will be either at home in my shop(don't smoke in the house) or at work by my nc lathe, with outlets available,a pcc wouldn't be used much.I thought about trying the 510,but after hearing about the short battery life, maybe I should stick with another intellicig evo.JUst don't know yet about their atomizer life.Decisions, decisions!

Sharp Smoker's PCC is made by 'Vogue'. I did a review here of one (w/ the factory logo). It charges 401 and 402 auto batts but is not a smart PCC.

Smoore's current M series PCC is mainly for the 402 but will charge the 403 and 401 manuals and autos. The drawback is the lid will not close for 401 batts.

The jury is still out on these. Seems to be a non Smoore product w/ a PCC for each M series model? I hear they're shipping out so we shall soon see. 'Banjoman' will certainly let us know in the M series subforum.

Why do people insist on lumping the 401 & 402 in with 510s when making statements like this????

Especially when this is a brand specific question. As the title says "Intellicig Evo questions"

Intellicig's batteries (both 401 & 402) outperform standard 510s by quite a period per charge. In my experience, the Genie (401) will even outlast the mega titan 510 (read into that what you will)
