All right. Started out with a simple questions as to which other companies produce interchangeable cartridges for my SmokeTip battery. Signed up and am now intensely annoyed at rules restricting posting for new people.

ANYWAY, I'm interested to know which other companies' cartridges are compatible with my SmokeTip battery. I would like to sample some new flavors.

SmokeTip is KR808D-1 (great luck)

Vapor4Life
SmokelessImage
Bloogplanet
Halocigs G6
(all good refillable cartos - the V4L WOW ones are hotter and give more hit (I use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece instead of the end cap), the Bloogplanet ones seems a bit cooler (due to lower coil) and vape a bit easier for a bigger drag. SmokelessImage ones should be the same as Bloog (I think)

And any other KR808D-1 cartos you find from 2.5 to 3 ohms

And if you get more batteries I recommend manuals (safer from damage/death from juice leaks, easier to get a good hit)

I also started with smoketip batteries and still use them. My fav smoketip cartos are menthol, apple & coffee. Especially the menthol tho. Smoketips are a kr808 battery and my 2 fav kr808 cartos are bloog and vapor4life premium cool cartos. Both have their advantages....and neither of them run hot, especially the vapor4life premium ones. I don't like my lips getting burnt. Tho you can get a drip tip too for that.
Bloog: Takes more liquid in it than the vapor4life. I think I also get more flavor out of them. Filling that doesn't burn.
Vapor4life: Takes less liquid, advantage if u are first trying something out and want to fill a carto with less liquid rather than more because this is the first time trying the flavor.....cartos need to be filled well to get full taste I think and to not taste the filler. Also has this great snap crackle pop that bloog doesn't seem to have. Premium carts stay cool and don't burn lips. vapor4life runs frequent sales that are good ones.

I don't see where the posting rules have stopped you from getting an answer :) Lots of people hang out in the new members forum and answer questions. The community here is pretty awesome.

The reason for the posting restrictions is the insane amount of spam that we get daily. Restricting posting rights for 5 posts helps us cull out the spammers before they go crazy on the entire forum. The system mostly works and honestly you can get 5 non spam posts in about 11 minutes. (even if you are as low typist)

what is this "filling" you all are talking about? you mean I can refill these things like printer cartridges? I'm really, really new to this.

Yes, most people purchase empty cartomizers and fill them. They taste better and it's less expensive. You can purchase the empty cartos that Dormouse listed that will fit the Smoke Tip. Be very careful though. The Smoke Tip has automatic batteries and there is a chance that you can ruin your battery by leaking juice into the open end of an automatic battery and this will void your battery warranty from Smoke Tip.

You can also buy prefilled ones and keep them damp with eliquid. The Smoketip cartos may or may not open easily and may or may not work well with multiple fillings (some rebranders buy cartos that are basically decent for one use). But those others I listed like Bloogplanet cartomizers (which should be the same as SmokelessImage), and the hotter vapor4Life WOW cartos - they open easily and are well designed inside. I can get 7 days use out of one. I use thin juices (PG with not more than 20% VG because any more VG and I can feel the drag degrade on most cartos). I also avoid dark and cloudy juices that leave a bunch of flavoring sediment in the stuffing. And you must keep them damp or you can singe the carto stuffing and get a burnt bitter taste that sticks around. With refilling, manual batteries are much safer from being damaged by juices leaks. If you want to use autos, buy a spare, Buy a spare in any case but especially with autos.

Their cartomizers are sealed but you can pry the end off.

Welcome to ECF !!! you'll see very few if any smart answers here, just a lot of helpful people,
friendly and knowledgeable. What you won't see is a bunch of ads masquerading as posts,
foul language, flaming, spamming, etc.... The rules do not even allow registered vendors to post
to newbies directly, helps you in the long run. :)

We are just vapers who enjoy it, like to find equipment cheap, and pass on the vaping bug to
other smokers.

My mom had a Smoke tip when she first started vaping and really liked the tobacco cartos but as you said they're sort of expensive. She did buy a bunch of prefilled cartos from Vapor 4 Life and did like their Hilton and 555. Eventually she just got the empty cartos from V4L and filled them herself.

I tried to find a juice for her that would duplicate the Smoke Tip cartos but never found one that tasted like that one. She eventually moved on to Backwoods Brew tobacco juices and liked them.
