as i said i am new to the vaporizer.
that said, are some of the parts 'usually interchangeable with one another?
i really wouldnt know. ive tried to research these things online but there is so much info out there and i have not picked up on the slang yet. certain sites say quite a lot with half i dont understand or some say almost nothing.

i have a tsunami brand 'tank'.... i think it's called a clearomizer but i dont know. its where the wick is and where you put the drops. thats screwed onto my battery of unknown origin.
there is no name on the battery. it's just pure black.
i know its a passthrough 1100 but thats it.

im asking cause i want to stock up on some 'tanks' of various colors just to have some stash around but i dont want to waste cash on the wrong item.

i bought all my gear new from a brick and mortar smoke shop around here but it wasnt a kid. they had kits but the also had tons of new gear that you could build your own with so thats what my wife and i did.

You can tell if its an ego passthough. If it has 2 sets of threading on it 510 threads (small threads in the center post) and a much larger set of threads on the outer part of the center post being the ego threads. If it infact has the 2 sets of threads we can help you out without needing pictures.

Egos get rebranded so it wont always say ego on it.

The Tsunami is an eGo threaded battery, so anything with eGo threads will work.

You should be good with CEx (4/5 etc), EVOD, T3/MT3 and anything else listed as having eGo threads.

I am not 100% sure the battery has 510 connections so I can't say if you'll be able to use vivi novas / protanks etc. with it until you post up the pics. I think it does, but I am not 100% sure.

Um, as far as interchangeable parts I know of tanks/atomizers/cartomizers/clearomizers (attachments) the threadings generally have commonalities. Example an "Ego" threaded device generally has the outer "Ego Cone" threading and an inner "510" threading. Any attachment that has one of these threadings, with fit on these Ego style batteries and a few of the APV models out there. Other threading commonalities are the KR808's (808), 901 and such. Just have to look at what your base unit uses to see what attachements are compatable.

Product specific I know of are these Kanger brand and clone attachments
Protank
Evod
T3s/MT3s (newest upgraded T3)

These 3 models, the replacement coils in the Protank can be used in the Protank, Evod, and T3s/MT3s
The Evod heads can be used in the Protank, Evod, T3s/MT3s
T3s heads can be used only in the T3s and MT3s
