I think I drove it off the showroom floor for around $2500. Up till that time all my cars were $100 except for my 55 Chevy. Had a lot of money in the running gear on that one. Used to burn up asphalt at the digs.

Awesome ride. So was the 57. Seems like every car I had back then is worth more now then they were even new. Any kind of foresight I'd have kept and preserved them. 49 Ford, several 49-52 Chevys. 53 Pontiac Chieftan, 55 Shaker, 59 Ford, 63 Shaker then the Stang. From there it went downhill for me. I needed pickups and vans to work out of. Now we've all got Jeeps lol.
