So, I just ordered my 3rd protank and my 3rd spinner - and I was so happy to build up my supply of gear a bit more. But then this happened....

photo (29).jpg

The round piece on the bottom of my protank got stuck inside my battery! :( My husband can't seem to get it out - he said there were pieces of metal coming off when he tried so he didn't really want to keep messing with it. Has this happened to anyone else?

So, my question is - does anyone know if I can just buy the bottom piece to the protank? The rest of it is fine and I don't want to have to buy a whole new one, just because that part is shot. I am bummed about the battery though.:glare:

PS: I don't know if this happened with my new stuff or old stuff

Yep, new release is supposed to correct weakness.
1 drop is all it takes to damage the thread cup. Over snug once after that and it is DONE for.:(

Would check with any Base supplier as to how old their stock is. New release is only 1 week old.

AVOID VAPOR BANK - PRICES are HighWay Robbery!!!!!!
5x the price from Discount Vapers.

Not true. Kanger pro tank listed at $19.99. Maybe a little higher than others but, not all that much. Sorry had to call it.

I have 2 protanks and have never had a problem with the build quality of either. They are both my daily users and go everywhere with me. I know they had a problem with the first batch a while ago, and it would separate the glass and metal pieces but I was sent the second patch when I bought mine. I wouldn't give up on the Protank as they are pretty awesome delivery devices. There is a new mod that just came out, which uses the protank base and head, has a SS body and you can use whatever drip tip you want ontop of it. Don't remember the name of it as it was just released but it has decent reviews, same performance. I'm sure I can dig it up somewhere.

Tatroe Tank. The tank portion is fabulous! It's the connection that is flawed. There is no give or take on this setup. The entire weight of the tank, juice and any sorta of sideways pressure bears on that 510 connection. It will break eventually. At least with cartotanks, there is some flex between the carto and the tank due to the o rings. Again this is just my crappy experience and opinion. Take it as you will.
