Just want to start a new thread for two reasons. First, to highlight the varied interests of our forum members whether it be restoring and older automobile or long-stitching a beautiful canvas.

My passion in the last few months has been audio. I built a complete stereo system based on vacuum tubes (yes, you might remember them) and finished off with building my own loudspeakers. Enjoy the pictures and post your own.

Two monoblock 300b amps, a phono preamp and a line stage.

Those are beautiful! How much time did it take to build all those items?
I am truly amazed.... :D

The components on the racks likely took around 20+ hours per piece. The loudspeakers took about seven days to complete. The racks took about an hour or so each to put together. The interconnects are all custom and took a few hours to solder toether.

Breakfast chef... that has to sound so freaking warm I can't even imagine, I love tubes they really do make a difference. your work is beautiful what a system.

Thanks. I really wanted to experience the sound from a high-efficiency system. The amps put out around 9 watts. Warm is a good term to use for the sound. There is very good spatial placement of instruments and vocals, too. Kind of like sitting in the second or third row.

other than vaping I really like to play guitar, sing, and try to figure out how to do 3d graphics/animation

I have songs up at The Mike Project on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Videos newest song I just put up today called "Mystic Dream" all songs are not the completed versions since I lost my hard drive with all the completed versions a while ago. I'm still working on the Mystic Dream song but I'm impatient and had to put it up now to try to receive feedback

Some of my 3d work, all Work In Progresses but feel the need to share them anyway.

Champy, the lake monster of Lake Champlain, kind of like the Loch Ness Monster of America, only not as well known apparently.

I'm working on making a retro futuristic style house, never got any further than this. I'll go back to it some day.

A very incomplete model of a female, body is still split in half to continue editing and sculpting of her. It's easier to work on one side and then duplicate over for symmetrical objects like people and animals.

Tried making a cartoon version of myself, not the best but I gave him the "I'm trying to fart" face

Of course I had to make a camel, still trying to figure out how to give him fur and then off to animate him for an idea I have. Same thing as the female, still split in half to continue working on it.

First Model of a haunted house, I followed a video tutorial.

I also love photography but I won't go through the trouble of posting all of them.

Sorry if I hijacked your thread, wasn't sure if this was for everyone to post what else they enjoy other than vaping or if this was your own personal "This is what I like to do" thread.

RC, the computer generated images are absolutely wild. Champy looks way scarier than I imagined. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

thank you very much I always appreciate the positive comments on my work. I'm still waiting on my girlfriend to finish "painting" champy a texture she's happy with so I can then work on animating and attempting to put in a video I have of lake champlain, sounds easier than it is. Thanks again for the compliment, made my day.
