So been using SS mesh for a while now and gotten pretty decent in rolling the wicks. Use the pulse method with .28 guage kanthal, 4/5 wrap @ .9 ohms. Found most success with 1 x 1.5 in strip (1.5 length) hollow tube. Recently trying my standard wick with a half wick double wick. I normally get a good solid dry burn followed by water quench for initial setup, then after every tank I drain, rinse, and dryburn before I refill. I am beginning to notice that the best vape I get is the first half tank of a brand new wick coil. After that the coil begins to oxidize and gunk up reducing the vapor / taste. I heard adding cheese cloth between the coil and wick really helps, but I am so used to dryburning I want to try it as a last resort. Not interested in wire core / multi core, I have found solid cores dont wick fast enough. So far the double wick (wick in a wick) is the best on juice flow.
