Hello everyone,

I've been a mild smoker for 20+ years. I smoke about a pack every 2 days for about the past 10 years and a pack a day at the most back when I was younger. I've tried several e-cigs and larger vaporizers/mods over the past 3 years in my attempts to stop smoking regular cigarettes. I tried several e-cigs (v2 and blu types) when I first started and they didn't really do the trick. Then I got a larger vaporizer/mod (Revolver Talon), and I didn't smoke cigs for a few months. I didn't mind having to fill the tanks and such but they were just overly cumbersome. After breaking several batteries, I fell back into smoking cigs. I broke down and tried Blu (not Blu+) back on thanksgiving and it worked. I love the convenient, pocket sized, charger pack. The pack of coarse stopped working 5 weeks on the dot, as I've seen this is a common problem on the internet. But they sent me a free replacement and I'm back to using it.

I mentioned a tip in the title so here goes,
After getting my new pack earlier today, I charged it up, then charged the first battery. I'm happy to have my Blu back. When I went to charge the second batter the pack just blinked red a few times so I did some research and found a thread on this forum that said this indicates a defective battery. In the thread someone mentioned hitting the battery. After re-reading it I now know that they meant to draw on it like hitting a cigarette. I however, simply tapped the battery a few times on the table. Well, it worked because I put it in the pack and it started to charge as normal. So my tip is to tap the battery a couple of times.

Also,
While waiting for my Blu replacement, I did a lot of research and ended up buying a Halo G6. I'm happy with the performance of them. I don't really have any e-juices I like right now so that makes it less attractive to me. I also don't like that it doesn't have a good pocket sized charging case. I'll use it at home and continue my search for a good e-juice. I really enjoy Blu's vanilla and tobacco flavors. I read that they use Johnson Creek Juices so I may try ordering from them. I also hear a lot about Halo's e-juices.

Anyone out there know what JC flavors that Blu is using, or are they contracting them to make custom blends for Blu?

Thanks for any input you all may have and once again, Hello! :)

I am an ex smoker myself, I use the Nicotine patch, and I use an actual vaporizer. My doctor actually reccomended that to me a while back, he said to use the vape as a comfort object. Part of the smoking addiction is the smoke, and having something in your hands.
It's helped me personally quite a bit

If youre trying to quit - The Blues have nicotine in them dont they?

I just wanted to note here I picked up the Blu+ a few weeks ago and so far so good.

The part of the above sentence that should be noted: WEEKS! Being a glutton for punishment: I'd buy a starter pack, a few days later the pack battery would fail, I'd toss the whole thing in frustration, and try a few months later with the same results. I figure the Blu+ would be my last and final attempt. Today is three weeks and so far so good. We'll see.
