First post here, I've been vaping about 7 weeks.
Made a hard switch after 28 years of smoking analogs, haven't had a single drag since....I love these things!
Started with blues....they quickly irritated me with their lack of battery/liquid capacity and I moved to a 900 ego with an Evod tank within a week.
These worked for about 3 weeks and I upgraded to an LVT with a Nautilus upgraded to bvc coils...now the clouds are flowing and I need to keep dropping my nic level since I'm blowing through so much.
Currently I only smoke a local RY4 which I love (Rock n Vape) hope it's OK to say that.
I've played a little with a DIY kit from flavor shack and have the necessary ingredients on the way to make RWHY4 from wizard labs.
My question is, is there an app or xls for fixing a mix?
What I mean is...I mix a 50/50 12mg 3 flavor 5% each for 15ml and I want to change it to 45/55 9mg 4 flavor 4% each.
That's an extreme example but the mixers will get the idea.
It'd be nice if it gave the minimum new batch size and the added ingredients.
If that exists please let me know otherwise I'll wind up building it myself in excel...it'll take me a bit to figure out out and I'd rather just use an already made one.
Thanks for reading all of this, any help would be appreciated.
John

Hello and welcome to the forum John. Glad to have you here!:)

For a juice mixing calculator consider using eJuiceMeUp.

Here's the ultimate thread on the subject of RY4 -- everything you ever wanted to know, including ratings and recipes. The Really Big RY4 Roundup < This is a monster thread!

For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum.

You will not be able to post there until you get in your first 5 posts and the servers update at :25 past the hour. Make sure to read all the "stickies". Also check out the blogs by ECF members Hoosier & dannyv45.

dannyv45 posted this thread a while ago. Wonderful information here: I've updated my recommended reading for people new to DYI.

to ecf jcxd45. So glad to have you here and congrats on the vaping. Yes there are several, what I consider, good android apps for mixing. Here is probably my favorite.

I happen to like this website for recipes

You might try this calculator - DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nic. - PG/VG Adjust - it will let you add other ejuice as flavor ingredients, and take account of their nic for the target desired, let you adjust your PG/VG and take acct of them in the other ejuices, etc -- I love it!

The second one shows some potential but doesn't seem to be what I want.
I guess I should explain better, if I made a 50/50 batch and want to change the nic%.
I can just add enough 50/50 to change it but that dilutes the flavor so I have to add the original flavor again.
This all works out easy mathematically if you just double the batch size, but it should be possible to calculate a smaller batch size with the minimum ingredients to make the desired changes...the math just isn't as pretty.
I guess I could just write down each individual ingredient from the first batch, then set the parameters for the second batch and vary the batch size until all of the ingredients for the second batch are equal to out greater than the first then just subtract.
Am I making sense?
