Intro from a Noob

Hi y'all
I smoked regular cigarettes for about 20 years, at a pack a day then went cold turkey and quit.
However, I stupidly began smoking analogues again two years ago - mainly 'cos they cost about US$1.50 a pack here in Mexico - and I am trying to tell myself it's OK because I am smoking less than 10 cigs a day...but the missus (She Who Must Be Obeyed - SWMBO) doesn't like the smell on me.

So, glory be to "teh Inter-webs", I came across the wealth of superb information in this forum and settled for a Joye eGo - to be collected from the mailbox in southern Texas, as we actually live about 6 hours further south into Mexico - and hope to begin vaping in a few weeks.

I am really looking forward to it but, at the same time, getting measurably p1ssed at the stories of government bans and interventions...what do these clowns want?

Well, hopefully I can contribute more meaningfully in the future. Thanks for being here!

Welcome. What they want is money and control. And cigarette taxes. And to continue peddling the worthless gum and patches with their woeful 6% success rate.

Be sure and stock up due to having to drive north for your supplies.

You're going to be very happy soon and so is SWMBO. There is no downside to this, other than the mad urge to keep buying new vaping things!!

Welcome! One of the things I noticed right away when I started vaping was that my hair, clothing, and hands didn't smell like cigarettes! I'm sure SWMBO will really appreciate your efforts. The best thing is that you will know that you are doing something to help improve your health without having to give up the habit of "smoking". Been vaping for 16 days now and loving it!!!
