I'm wanting to get into this myself, my thought is go as cheap as you can for now and see if you can even do it! The higher end models are hard to find and pricey! Discount vapers and OKC vapes are where I'm looking right now as well. For dripping you can find Phoenix type RBA's for around $8-$12 pretty easy.

That's awesome. I was expecting it to cost me a fortune to get into but at that price just to try it out I mean why not.

i've stated before and hold the opinion that the vivi nova is the easiest intro into RBAs as it is the simplest setup and eases you into the experience with flexible options on wick types.

once you've done experimenting with that, the pheonix drip RBA is a good option if you'd like a drip atty rebuildable...and also the COV-1 at clouds of vapor if you are looking into something along the lines of a genesis style RBA.

edit: forgot to mention pricing, all of these options cost less than 20 dollars (before shipping) to get an intro into, however you also have to factor in your kanthal wire and wick materials.

But what about people like me that don't care for the taste, or get the burning taste from them after little use? I tried them, they weren't for me and I want something different.
Some people love them, some don't. I seem to fall into the category that doesn't for some reason.

to be completely honest...i hate the vivi nova with the passionate fire stronger than five stars going supernova....but i learned how to make a coil using one.

if you'd like another option, the "smoke vivi tank" is easily converted to a genesis style atomizer with a few drilled holes....the pheonix gives more play options with it, but not everyone likes to drip...which is why it is a secondary suggestion, and of course there is the COV-1, a full blown genesis atty did clone (aka the DUD) for all of 12 bucks at clouds of vapor....or, if you want to get super exciting, you can always grab the AGA-T at clouds of vapor for 30 bucks, it's a little more expensive, but even better than the DUD as it's solid stainless instead of stainless plated brass.

Dang... I didn't notice that it was sold out now. I know it's a clone, but I haven't seen a genuine Phoenix for a comparable price. I've been happy with the quality. It would make sense to support the original, though.

the original pheonix is cheap, used to be expensive but nowadays you can find the real thing for 15 bucks, the most expensive nowadays i see is like 19.99

Discount vapers has a nice little RBA called the BT801 or Dream. Its all Stainless and works pretty well. It has adjustable draw cap and center post. For 8.99, not a bad way to start. Looks cool too IMHO.

Looks like he's out of stock on those too. The variable air flow sounds nice. I tend to like a looser draw than most.

for variable air flow....nothing matches the GGs, but those ARE pricey....i have seen an Odysseus clone floating around but after it gets to the states the price would still be like 90 dollars.....quite frankly with being able to get a Penelope for 150 you might as well get the real thing in the classifieds

Discount vapers have a few that are ss. If you get one that is not ss please keep an eye on the plating, make sure it isn't cracked peeled.

A lot of these are chrome plated brass or copper, and while I can not say they are unsafe to vape with bare metal exposed no one knows. What we do know is most brass has lead added to it. So it is better to be careful.
