Hello all,

Just a quick intro. Have been reading on this board for hours wanting to learn all about this E-Cig thing...especially due to hearing a radio advert on our local news talk radio station. Boy, am I glad there is a thing such as Google and leading my way here. I have learned so much over the last few hours, although my head hurts.

I am happy to say and sure Steve will be happy to hear (although, sent you and e-mail Steve off your website before learning of the V4Life forum) that I/we are about to become newbie customers of the VK. The awesome, honest reviews and absolute outstanding reports about Steve and the VK has sold us. Although, we're going to start out with one kit due to making sure it works for us and of course funds. Gotta watch the monies, economy has hit my business HARD. So, without further ado....will let you all know how it works out for us! We want to rid ourselves of analogs badly, we want to live! Steve, look for our order...probably around tomorrow evening or Tuesday.
:)

PS Any possibilty of V4L beginning payment options via PayPal? That would be awesome too.

Last I heard PayPal would not be used for tobacco products, now I know there is none here but the nicotine remains

I just posted, as I am like you, I smoke about a pack a day of ML, and I just ordered my VK today, I am still toying with the idea of a 510 and a 901. Only due to all the personal preference statements.

I went with the mid level nicotine MBoro, in my order with nothing else to go on except I smoke lights so this seemed reasonable. I did not order any other flavors, but if this fixes the craving for the nicotine I can assure you I will be.

I hate the health risks from smoking analogs, but I do enjoy the experience, I am really hoping this will provide a healthier alternative.

I forgot to ask. We are Marlboro Lights smokers. Myself much heavier than my wife. I smoke at least 1.5-2 packs a day. My wife 1 pack...What strength would you guys suggest?

Nicotine strength is very subjective and seems to vary more than anything else I have seen on this board - which is saying something! I was a one and half pack a day parliament light smoker and find that 24mg keeps the cravings firmly at bay, and 16mg is a nice all day vape for me. Hubby was a 2 pack a day Marlboro Reds smoker and won't touch anything below 24mg and mostly sticks to 36. Grab a few flavors and strengths if you can. You can also contact Steve and see if he will do a snack pack for you with varieties in it. If I had to go just on my personal experience, I would say get a pack of 16mg, 24 mg, and 36mg. If you need to leave one out for costs reasons, my best guess would be to drop the 36. This is a great range and will allow you to play with different strengths as needed throughout the day.

YAY! And welcome! I think you are going to like it here! ;)

I would recommend asking Steve for a mixed pack also. Either that or get one pack of 16, one pack of 24 and one pack of 36. I was a 1 pack a day Marlboro Light girl myself. I find the 16mg is perfect for me, but when I want a bit more kick, 24mg hits the spot. 36mg would probably knock my socks off.

Do try some of the flavors. I started with the tobacco flavors but once I tried coffee and capuccino, I was hooked! Those are my every day favorite vapes. At night I will use a low nic (6 or 8) with chocolate, vanilla, or one of the fruity flavors on my passthrough.

Welcome to our little corner of the forum!

@leeshor: Yes, initial expense is the biggie. Gonna go with the VK Ultimate Ultimatum for starters. Already spending $15/day with analogs! ugh. We're in Dawson County near the Amicalola River. Lived in Norcross back in '86.

@Val: Funny, we must have been posting at the same time. Going with mboro also. I'm not much on flavors, I like my coffee as "coffee" kind of guy. but, I may change my mind as some sound kinda good! I agree, if it keeps us from analogs, will try all the flavors for sure. I did see somehwere, think it was eastmall that accepted paypal.

@Phx: Thanks very much for your input... 24mg to 36mg probably for me and 16mg for my wife. The snack pack sounds good! :)

Your mom said not to say...
Get some high nic and some low nic for when you move along or you may even find that the high nic is actually too high for you as well. The real important thing is to order some extra carts if your going that route with the cartomizer or some juice, or quite possibly both so you can try each but if your going with the cartomizer solution keep in mind that it is slightly more costly compared to dripping or refilling your own carts. I only mention that because you mention money, other than that I have heard enough good about these that I want to try one myself. I just bought two kits, juice, flavors, and PG this last month though so it is tough to justify since the ones I did buy have gotten me off tobacco. I would gladly trade my 510 kit for one though at this point, although you can have my Dragon when you pry it out of my dead hands. Good luck in quitting, it worked for me and plenty of others. I stopped the very instant I got my kit and have not had a single tobacco cigarette since, I hope you and your wife the same luck.

Welcome!
yeah paypal pulled out out of all the american ecig companies although I am sure they missed a few . Correct me if I am wrong but I belive eastmall is in china *shrugs* I am not 100% sure but you might need to check on that. One of the options you can do instead of paypal If you do not have a Credit card or bank debit card is called a greendot card from CVS you pay 4.95 for it then you load whatever you want on it and can use it just like a credit card. Its a VIsa prepaid card. you can use it as a temporary card or call them up and ask them to send you a permanent card. its pay as you go though so you can't use it if the money isnt there. they do charge 5.95 a month but only if you actually have money on it, if you don't then they don't charge it and when you do put money on it they don't take it for back months. ( found this out because this way I can send money to my kid who moved away without the messiness of joint bank accounts :p )
If you want more info on them feel free to ask :) More then happy to help out! And yeah if you don't go crazy you should actually save moeny doing this! I think when I did the math on how much it cost me per cigarette it
I smoked 1 to 1 and half packs day I figured it as 1 and half and I pay3.33 and 1 cart costs you about 2.50 I was only vapeing 1 cart or less a day. Personally I was saving 2.50 a day! Enough to pay off my kit in a month :) Dep on str and how much you vape and if you use juice you can really save some money!
*blushes* my accouting brain is showing again isn't it? sorry

I am sure Steve would be willing to work with you on the payment thing if checks or money orders work best for you. Give him an email or call, he is great! This economy sucks for everyone and has hit so many people hard!

The good news is that after the initial investment, it is less expensive and you will eventually recoop and save money.
