1. It has an adjustable center pin.

2. There should be some of the current models available soon, pre-built except for top caps so no long waiting period. I'm pretty sure Jon said the new models should be out in around a month or so.

I'm anxiously awaiting the new models, I need to get another one. Or two. :)

I wanted to give you guys a heads up....if anyone is still looking to get a futura dna20 version I have decided to sell mine. Still works great, I am just not using regulated devices much anymore. Its black with the contoured topcap. I plan on putting it on the classifieds today or tomorrow for $160.

Yeah... our original springs have gone missing, so we're sending out copper ones as extras. We will have a new style bottom cap with a revolutionary spring replacement system. That's marketing for: it should work better. I'll keep you posted.

i still havent received any springs has anyone else received any that was requested ?

I got a little pro-active (until NexGen releases new styled bottom caps anyway) and went onto the provape site, and bought two provari replacement flat bottom caps, one was the normal flat cap, and the other the one with the compass star on it (which looks SWEET on the futura) They both thread perfectly, and the spring is MUCH stiffer, and appears to be brass or copper. This for me looks like it will be a good temporary solution, it works fantastic now, no more removing the battery and re-setting the chip.

Oh that's cool! I've been trying to get a zombie one from them, but they won't sell that one.

Do you think the provari battery cap actually works better?

The only advice I'd give anyone, when my battery starts acting funny (shows lots of charge but display say's check battery) I usually noalax the threads (all threads) and put a little between the spring and cap to...That solves my issues for several weeks before it returns.

Sounds like I might need to peruse the provari site for caps.

I don't know how big or small nexgen is, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot with every announcement, post and promise. :(
And with the trend and pace of new 30w and 50w+ devices being released, well... you can finish the paragraph with your own opinions.

The worse part is, the device is awesome... incredible durable finish, no issues at least with mine, patiently waited for the 30w version, was even promised a couple by email that never materialized............. I've tried to support them, and they basically refuse to allow the loyal and faithful to continue give them money and support. Stick a fork in them. :(

I couldn't agree more. I am tired of waiting for them - it has been what, 6 months since you could order one? I just pre-ordered a 50w box mod by pioneer4u. The same folks that make the chip in the 7/22 mod. The box i ordered has the new SX330 chip - Here is a link to the iPV.

Newest addition to the crew

The weight difference between the futura and the wizard is crazy, at least in the hand. Thinner, lighter and extremely noticeably shorter.

In case anyone is interested, the pre-order for the iPV 50 is still going on and they are currently 30% off as of this post - bringing the price down to $79.99. Use coupon code '30off'.
