i cant believe what ive been reading here and other post ( scratches on serial #)maybe if jon took the time to read anything but the last post he would know com76 was a customer that was run thru the mill on his shipping dates i thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head when you pretty much called him a troll and for a second kick in the nuts when you found out you were WRONG you still slipped in the snide comment "in spite of the lies and deception hope you are enjoying it" boy you dont quit do you, i feel sorry for you cause you need people skills you really dont quite grasp what is on the horizon in a forum such as this because believe me when futura looses all of the previous customers loose too soooo sad i have nothing else to say im shell shocked by some of these post

Agreed. I was seriously considering purchasing this product as a future upgrade from my SVD, but seeing all this juvenile snark and mistreatment of customers from the owner seals the deal; I'll be skipping on the Futura entirely. Looks like a ZNA 30 or the NES dna 30 mods will be getting my money.

Word must be out, they are out of stock:( I signed up to be notified when restocked. I plan on grabbing a couple asap. Once I started ignoring the battery display and just vaped till they stopped, I am getting about 7 hours run time between charges. But, getting a full day sounds really nice! Thanks.

Can anyone show a comparison photo with the futura with a 510 only top cap in 18350 mode? I wanna see how small it is compared to another 18350 device or if someone can take a measurement for me that would be great too.

Fluidvapor has them cheaper than Orbtronic, go figure. I gotta pay tax at Orbtronic (I'm in Florida) or pay shipping at Fluidvapor. Still cheaper at fluid.
Fasttech doesn't carry the buttontops. What we really want are nipple tops. The wide raised contacts on those batteries are too wide

Well, just goes to show you can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try. I'm sorry if I sounded "snarky" to some, but the rhetoric was a little over the top, I think. If you ask almost any customer who's had problems, you'll find we've gone more than the extra mile to make him/her happy, up to and including refunds, replacements, all repairs, etc. Look, it doesn't matter who you are - go read some of the hate posts on the ten trillion Provari threads. There will always be dissatisfied buyers, no matter how good the product or service. I've since offered to pay shipping both ways for the scratched Futura, and to repair and replace if necessary.

This is our standard, and not so standard warranty. Things are often handled on a case by case basis. For example, we had a recent unhappy customer who, angered by the wait time, took a hammer to his battery tube and demanded a full refund since his unit was dented. He even admitted it later, but we still sent him a new tube. We're pretty reasonable, but sometimes my patience wears a little thin.

If you feel more comfortable ordering from another company, please do. We're offering a product, not begging for sales. We want everyone to be happy with his/her purchase, and if that means buying a different mod, I highly encourage it. Saves aggravation on all fronts.

I am glad that you finally decided to do the right thing by Yosh. I hate the idea that it turned into an argument over it all. As for your statement of going the "extra mile" for customers to be happy - I am sure you will find this is pretty much the standard practice when you offer a warranty on your product.

I am sure you have had a lot of problems from customers due to you sending out dodgy rocker switches, tight threads and unsealed 510 connections. You also made a lot of unhappy customers stating your product was "in stock" when people who had waited months still had not received theirs. You then played with words saying its "available" when you certainly did not have stock or even the DNA boards to make stock. Your attitude towards your customers is also questionable based on a few of your posts.

I had drama's with my Provari and it was running close to the end of its warranty (in fact it had run out by the time it reached provape). The reseller here in Australia sent it off to them (paid for postage) and provape repaired and even upgraded the chip to a V2 and paid for shipping back - no questions or snarky comments - Just thought you and others should know this.

If i had my way again i would not have purchased the Futura. I honestly think my time and money would have been better spent elsewhere. I have little respect for you or your company and this rubs off onto my Futura blemished or not.

I do hope however that you endeavor to improve your product and your business practices for the sake of new and old customers. Good luck to you.

Disclaimer: This post is not a complain post and my main issues is wrong top cap.

I thought I let everyone cool down a bit before revisit this thread. Indeed Jon has now offered to cover both way shipping cost, a big jump from forking out the cost myself.

I just wanted to point out the scratches is not done by me neither. I have done a bit analysis on the scratch on posted here as evidence and you can decide yourself. I am not in a position to take blame on something not my fault.

Notice how in the picture, deep line cutting across dead center of the circle without damages to the brass contact and the rubber seal, how lines run parallel and also forming 90 degrees angle? I need a good darn skill the scratch it that way.

I just spent hours upon hours reading this entire thread. I am appalled by some of the things that have happened here. I was so excited about this device when I came across it. Nothing had turned my head from the Provari until I saw this mod and read about it's supposedly wonderful features. :( After reading here I could never bring myself to buy from nexgen. I really hope they get it together in the future so the current customers they have will have some decent support if they need it in the future. My advice to you LCV is to stay in contact with your customers no matter what you have to listen to. All of that time no one could contact you was unacceptable! Customers were complaining on the forum because they had seen all of the fruitless attempts by their fellow vapers to contact you with no response for such a long period of time. Why wouldn't they air their dirty futura laundry on the forum and hope for a faster response from you? I understand that you must be under a lot of stress trying to make a go of this but without these customers you are nothing. Please try and remember that as you move forward. If you don't take care of the 1st bunch of customers the next bunch will get smaller and smaller until you have no business at all. The Provari may be old technology but I would rather have old tech and great customer service then go threw many of the situations I have seen here in this thread. I was ready to move up to a good WV device but after this saga I just read I realized the grass just isn't any greener on the other side of the fence. In fact the grass seems to be pretty brown and weedy over here. I wish you better luck in the future. I also hope you provide better customer support to those who so freely handed you their hard earned money. Money you accepted far too soon.

That is interesting to say the least. Those scratches that run across the delrin and battery connector tell me something specific. There are no scratches on these parts, but as the picture shows, the lines connect on both sides of the circle. This shows that the delrin insulator and the battery connector were not in the cap when it was scratched. The protrusion of that battery connection would definitely warrant a scratch if it was in the cap when they were made. This was either done in the manufacturing process, or someone pulled it apart, scratched it, and put it back together. I'm not taking sides, but doesn't it seem a bit odd that yosh would scratch this, when he already has a reason for it to be sent back and replaced (the top cap)? Regardless the matter has been handled by Jon and Yosh. I'm glad they could reach an agreement. I just don't want this to turn into a bad experience for anyone.

To all who have followed through the drama that I have been facing. I am glad to say that I have received an email from Jon proposing to have a new control head ship to me and keep the current one as spare, this is what I call customer service. Now I also replied saying that I can ship the current one back because I don’t want to take advantage of this circumstances.

All in all I am happy about solutions and wish to put this matter behind my back.

Thank you all.

And I think we have a winner for a readily available button top. This battery is 1 of 2 recommended by mamu in the thread mentioned above at the time of her post. The LG had not been tested yet.
Hybrid IMR 18650 30A Orbtronic SX30 Ultra High Drain rechargeable battery
The one below has a very low internal resistance as well
22 Amps Ultra High Drain 18650 Orbtronic SX22 battery li-ion cell
I'm getting 2.

Orbitronic has added button tops to quite a few batteries including this 2900 mah panny with 21 mΩ ir.
NCR18650PD - New NCR18650PF - High Drain Panasonic 18650 2900 mAh Li-ion Battery free shipping from Florida
Oy decisions, decisions...

will the hybrid orbtronic work in the dna 30 futura
