I'm assuming clear, either matte or gloss, will move the best for these. Let me know if you want one. I will post a pic as soon as mine gets in.
no the clear kevlar is an imatation kevlar with the cross hatching design and yes for the nay sayers out there i would put a skinz on the mona lisa how such an ugly woman got so much press is beyond me and if i was so nieve to believe creakote is a permanent coating i guess if the egyptians had used that on the great pyramids they would still look like new today i believe its a very durable coating but nothing in this world is permanent but to talk down to djcaptiankiddo was not cool we both paid our money like you did and will do what we see fit to protect our investment when i device is in your handseveral hundred times a day greasey grimey dirt will change it over time as mine will be used and abused like the provaris of the past

Quick update:

We've now finished order #2000, and should be through 2030 or so by the close of the weekend. We'll ship tomorrow or Saturday, with more going out Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday we shall rest. The re-threads we've received will also go out within this time frame. That is all. For the moment.

Jon, last night my Futura tipped over on my desk and it fell down in such a way that the rocker switch fell right against my mouse cord and as a result my adjustment buttons were on permanently. Either it would scroll all the way down to 7w, or all the way up to 20w. it would not 'rest' in the middle. Either one of the DNA adjustment switches would be activated or the other.

I was just fuming mad....

Luckily after a few minutes of panic and outrage, I was able to use a small flat screw driver to pry up the rocker on one of the sides and I heard a little click, then it all started working properly again. I am assuming the fall knocked the rocker switch out of its central pivot point and when I gently pried it back up the click was it popping back into its pivot.

I know you don't like my little flush adjustment buttons idea over the rocker switch. But this never would have happened with little flush buttons. No one thinks Mark Bugs is making a Vamo, and they used small flush buttons. Just sayin'.. If you are going to design another model like when the next DNA model is released, Think small flush buttons.

I'm reposting my earlier post with an addition.

I have sent at least 1 email asking for a refund, and it was not replied to, so just in case they have not recieved my email I am posting my request in a public manner so that there can be no dispute. Order# 2019

If my request is not responded to by Friday morning December 20th at 8 am CST, I will have no choice but to contact my cc for a chargeback.

Reasons are as follows 1. The device was sold to me on the grounds of false pretenses. The web site said "In Stock", there was no mention of a lead time, no mention of a backlog, no mention of a preorder. Had I been advised beforehand of any of these I would have never made the purchase. It is now clear that "In Stock" was a gross exaggeration at best.

2. Lack of, and or misleading, comunication.

3. After reading the thread on ECF I lack the confidence in Nexgens ability to fulfil my order. Whether it be malfeasance or incompetence, I do not believe that I will see a finished product, nor do I trust in their ability to stand by their product, as they claim they will do, once I recieve the product.

I do not wish to debate the issue, I do not wish to discuss the issue.

Thank you and have a good day.

After emailing the above I got this response
" 'll be happy to refund your order. Threats and insults really aren't necessary."

I'll just say, if me being honest about my dealings with your company is considered an insult, you need to take a long hard look at how your doing business.

I repeatedly asked when I could expect to see my refund, finally I got "before 8 am tomorrow", which I half suspect was him being a jerk.

Either way, if you are reading this, you definitely should not spend your money with this company. Period.
