Chipset= singular = one chip ..not chip set like sets of chips..

Sticklers for grammar geez...... I posted from an article I read (says chipset in it) I knew that...... so I'll blame it on a typo and my keyboard app.... I just tried typing it again and it split the word again?

A chip looks like this:

It is an electronic component. The thing that components like chips are soldered to, which forms connections between them and the outside world is called a "printed circuit board" or "board" for short.

"Chipsets" generally consist of multiple chips, intended to work together, from the same manufacturer. I'm reasonably confident Evolv uses off-the-shelf chips (one of which is a micro-controller that they wrote firmware for). I rather doubt there is a "chipset" on that board.
