Replacing the 5volt Box and Bottomfeeder with a New 6 volt design!!

We have decided to stop the production of the 5 volt Model and go strictly to 6 volt...This change will eliminate the need for a voltage regulator which has been causing some issues in the past with poor quality assurance.(About 1 in 10 regulators are bad)

I found that the 6 volt has a much longer battery life using the New 14505 Lifepro 3.2 volt batteries (AA Size). I have Vaped for well over 12 hour on a single charge and I am a heavy Vaper.

The design of the 6 volt will remain the same as the 5 volt model with one exception, the 6 volt mods will use the 5amp Horn Button Switch which is so popular, with a proven track record and can handle the dual coil catomizers.

We also found a charger that will charge both the 3.2 volt batteries as well as 3.7 volt batteries and it has 2 amp settings...300/600 amps. It also is a Universal charger so it will handle the most popular sizes of batteries made.

We will be handling a small quantity of 3.2 volt lifepro batteries and chargers at first and will increase stock as needed.

As always your input is welcome and much appreciated.

Thanks Ron & Zach Old Goat Mods

Old Goat fans should be happy to hear that my 5V mod helped me out this morning in our Irene-imposed no-power state. Up before dawn and looking for the real flashlight, I discovered that the ON-OFF light alone lit the room enough to find it. (Heck, I could have probably read a book with the dragging LED pressed.)

I made a couple stealth box mod for a customer which were made from a single 14500 battery box and 2xAAA (10440) battery Box...They are just regular Box Mods but they are very stealthy...He had me put the connector inside the box so his cart. would not stick out much and I was able to fit a 3 amp push button switch into Both so he will be able to vape with the dual coil with no problem.

As for size, I would say they are no bigger than a Bic Lighter.

I will get some pics of both mods before I send them out.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

Will you also be continuing with the 6V?

Yes we still will make the 6 volt Bottomfeeder and Box Mod....the 6 volt Bottomfeeder is working out so well it has taken the place of my VV Bottomfeeder as my daily Vaper.

The Battery life is unbelievable using the 14505 3.2 volt Lifepo's, I can Vape the whole day on one set,and the vapor Production is to die for.

So feel free to place an order or just ask questions.

Thanks Ron Old Goat

hello ron. i placed an order today for the 3.7feeder and a 5vfeeder. was under the impression that the 5vfeeder used two 14250 batteries. I thought i might have seen it made using two 14500?? i would think things would be to tight to fit using the 14500's 5volt with feeder. my question is . . . .am i mistaken in seeing it made with the 14500's? it would be nice if they both used the same batteries or is that only without the feeder option?

I got my old goat mod today! It wasn't Rons fault, but my PO lost it, it was ordered for me like, early august? I only just got it. But it showed up today, and boy am I ever pleased. Came with an extra modded 3ml bottle and a nice blue DT. I have some pictures to show.

The light is beautiful. It's a nice deep burple color. Indigo? Love it!

The coolest thing about this mod, and what I feel sets it apart from others like it, is the switch. Its a tiny, soft stick of plastic that is very discrete. It actually took me a few seconds to find it. It pushes like you're not pushing anything. When I first saw/felt it I thought it had gotten damaged at the PO, like a whole piece of it was missing. But no.. it's just a VERY well designed switch. It feels like it doesn't even have a spring, though I'm sure it does. When holding it down, it doesn't feel like you're pushing anything.. just like you're holding it casually. It's the closest you can get to a touch sensor without it actually being a touch sensor. And it hits like a charm every time!

Thanks Ron, great job A+++

Edit: This has rekindled my love for LR atomizers. Though as may be evident, I've so few I'm at the bottom of the barrel, IE - Pink. I think maybe some blue LR's are required here...

The new designed 5 volt Bottomfeeder uses 2 14500 batteries...I changed the design because of the battery life of the 14250 batteries (POOR). I use a 4 XAA battery box to make the 14500 5 volt bottomfeeder.

So glad you like the mod...I find people love or hate the switch...I myself love it...I offer a heavier switch for those who don't like the soft touch.

Thanks so Much... Ron Old Goat
