Oh maaaaaan..... could it be, that we'll be holding our "MyMod" this summer??!! .. . . I passed up the 2015 Woodvil run...... No biggie, I need something more durable than wood..... This looks like it'll fit the bill.

Paul, Have you named it yet ?
Hey Paul did you iron out the problems with the red one and will they be ironed out ? What are the differences?
I like the sound of the door closing I can see myself just sitting around snapping the door shut! Sounds SOLID!

Just minor differences like the amount of travel for the button, etc... I wanted to test which one worked better and use that for production.

Okay, the mod survived the drop test a few times on concrete. The 510 connector didn't break. So I think I can go ahead and make the first batch now.

Only thing I want to change is add a notch (for the finger) on the top to make the magnetic door easier to open. So we settled on stainless steel for the center pin, beryllium copper for the positive spring.

That should be good to start now. The mod is highly modular and every parts can be easily upgraded or changed later anyway.

The 510 connector is SS as well, correct?

Did you get around to testing the load your fuses will take Paul?

The fuse is an automotive fuse that you can purchase, and plug it in, and they come in 10A, 15A, etc...

However, I include a 10A fuse as default.

This is sort of an unrelated question. But has anyone ever tried a RDA with the air hole(s) on the top? How does the flavor compare with a traditional side air hole? (with everything else like chamber size being the same)?
Vector is a really good top air atty. Flavor not quite as good as say a derringer or particularly a Stumpy but fairly close IMHO. Big advantage is top air doesn't leak;) Manta is good from what I understand but no personal experience with it.
