Here's a pic of the contacts. Plus the red one. The contacts are not plated, as most people thought it was not necessary.

I'm partial to HG2's and HE2's. I've retired all my baby blue Sammys. I do still run a handful of VTC5's though. Of course, battery life during the day isn't a concern. This is a typical load out for work:

i run 2 fused Claptons in a Velocity and they come in at about 0.15Ω, the point being that you'd be at the safety limit of one 30A battery, but 3 can power it well and safely.

You could also use a regulated device i'm sure, but so few are squonkers.

15-20 watts does it for me on mechs, on the occasion I use regulated I sometimes go all the way to 24!
Living wild! I do like some warmth to mine, about 75 on mechs, up to100 on regulated. Of course I probably go through a lot more juice and batteries than you, too.

Wild, reckless, and smoke free!
I like it hot too, which is how I've crept up from the 8-10 range :)
My setup is pretty efficient, but I'll still vape 5 ml a day, 8 if I'm chain vaping continuously, which I do on the weekends.

But I'm after flavor and nic, zero clouds would be fine with me :)
I vape mostly pg, just a bit of VG to reduce the throat hit.

This mod really looks great

I was busy for the last few days with work related stuff, woke up this morning and read that the FDA is going to regulate vaping. This is great, just as when I'm about to sell my first batch this happens. A couple of questions for those who are more well versed.

How will new regulations affect all the mod makers like myself and some other folks. Or will it only pertains to juice makers? I'm guessing it'll at least indirectly affect the hardware guys since less juice means less ppl vaping. Surely this would put lots of vape shops out of business.

This is totally bad news.

Here's a decent summary of the impact of the FDA deeming regs:

The Rest of the Story: Tobacco News Analysis and Commentary

It's bad, particularly for small scale mod and juice makers. Essentially, you'll have two years from August 10 to submit a PMTA for your mods. So, sell as many as you can in two years and then pack it up. Also, you won't be able to introduce any new models after 8/10/2016 without submitting a PMTA.

$1M to get FDA to review and approve a simple mechanical circuit? That's horrible.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but bongs are not regulated are they?

Bongs aren't taking tax money out of the govenments pockets or they would be.
