Okay, I finally worked out a few bugs in the mod. Now it's at a point where I'm comfortable shipping it.

If you are on the list and you monitor this thread regularly, do me a favor and PM me with your color, other info, etc...and I will give you the instruction on payment (pay for goods and services over Paypal). This will save me the trouble of having to hunt everyone down on the list. And then I still have to check up on those who doesn't monitor this thread regularly.

After this is done I would know how much I have left over. Thanks

Wasn't knocking them.
I use an emulator app instead of lugging around my 48gx.
Coworker now uses an app instead of pulling out his 41cx.

I tried the app on my tablet but the form factor is wrong.
But my 5" phone works great.

I've used the emulator also, but working in a safety sensitive area means no cell phones under penalty of termination, so openly using your phone is out of the question and sticking with the real thing just keeps management happy.

I haven't replied to anyone's PM yet. I will do it soon.

But I want to delay the mod's shipment by a week or so. Originally I planned on getting it shipped this weekend. There are two reasons:

1. I found out the last couple of days that assembling this is more time consuming that I imagined. It's one thing to assemble a prototype for myself, it's quite another to do it repeatedly many times over. Not fun at all. Spreading this out over a bit more time would make it easier for me. But this is not the main reason.

2. I decided to make another set of the 510 connector. As you know, the 510 connection on different atties are not exactly the same "height", and for the best performance, the atty should be screwed down tight. The first batch of the 510 connector worked great for the atty I've always been using, but didn't make too tight of a connection with some others. I mean, I never really thought about this until last week, and I spent last weekend to try to come up with a solution. There are some cheap and easy fixes but last night I made the decision to just make a different batch of the 510. They are small machined parts and will be ready in a week or so, I already ordered it. So you'll get two 510 connectors. This is a benefit for you since the 510 is the weakest part of a mech mod usually, and having a replacement one on hand is nice. It's user swappable. This also sort of acts as an "adjustable 510" since you get two slightly different fixed 510s.

While I'm waiting for the new 510s I will be continue to assemble, and it will be good to go as soon as the 510s get to me. Supplier said it'll take only a week at most.
