Introducing myself...

Hello. I'm 70 years old and have smoked 2 packs a day for many years. I want to quit smoking before my luck runs out and my health fails. I live on Social Security so I don't have much money to spend on e-cig products. I have been researching, looking for inexpensive options and I found a company that looks like it's just what I'm looking for. The prices for their e-cigs and ejuices are low. Before I make a commitment to buy I would like to ask if any of you have heard of a supplier called e-cig? (That's the whole name of the company.) I would appreciate any feedback you could give me. Thank you.

I've never had dealings with them but please keep this in mind, they are out of China and their ejuices are more than likely made by Dekang which is a good brand. You're going to have a long wait for them to get to the states by China Air Mail right now. They are getting close to their Chinese New Year and shipping completely stops for a period of 11 days.

Which e-cig are you looking at purchasing? I bet we could find a USA vendor that would have it to you a lot faster. Might be a little higher but you won't have a month or so wait.

Hi there newandconfused vaping can be a little hard to get use to but in my opinion is by far the best way to quit smoking.
it can be a little expensive to start up if you want to get something that will do a good job but after that its very cheap to keep up with buying atomizers and your e-liquid. it cost me about $60 to get my first e-cig kit with a atomizer, battery, charger, and a 30ml bottle of e-juice and then after that it only costs me $15 a month for another bottle of liquid and $20-$30 a year for replacement atomizers.

if your new i would recommend looking in the supplier section of the ECF fourms and checking out some prices and try to find something simple and easy to use without spending too much. i would recommend the joye 510-t kit if your looking for something small to take around with you, but the battery doesnt last very long unless you have a charge case so if you want something that lasts a long time without having to remember to always put it back in the case then the joye ego-t maybe a good idea for you, its about 3 times the size and feels more like a cigar but it will last most people the whole day and works very well. they have nice tank cartridges that are very easy to fill if you use a blunt tip syringe. if you dont buy a syringe then you may have issues getting the little caps off them with your nails.

I hope this helped you and if you have any other questions then dont be afraid to ask, there are loads of amazing people on this site always willing to help. i just made a youtube account and will hopefully start uploading some helpful beginner videos soon and then ill link it to you

Welcome!! You'll get a lot of great advice here, that's for sure and vaping WILL get you off the smokes once you find your personal set-up! Just take your time in choosing what you go with and think about your "smoking replacement" needs, the overall up-keep of the PV that grabs your attention, the routine maintenance that will come with it, and the necessary purchases that will have to be made along the way. Once you've got your head wrapped around all of that . . . the rest is easy! It's kind of like buying a car . . . price is good, the tires look great, but what will they cost to replace, does it get good gas mileage? You get the picture.

Again, WELCOME!! Never hesitate to ask questions . . . you'll find the answers that are right for YOU!

Best wishes!!!!

Welcome aboard.

If you're ordering from China the lead time on getting your stuff will be pretty long, compared to a few days from a US vendor.... Distance wise not xenophobe wise that is the reality.

Might want to look around at some US vendors, might actually be a little bit cheaper when you take in the shipping costs. Product might be a few $$ more but the shipping will most likely be a few $$ less, so it balances out.

Welcome newandconfused!! You have come to the right place. I would steer away from "ecig.com", because it will take a long time to ship + chinese new year is coming up which will delay shipment further. I will just post a few options for you...

Vapor King Vaporizer Cigarette Value Kit - Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit for Newbies! + get some juice to refill.
Classic White Electronic Cigarette Kit + some juice for refilling - available in other colors
Smok Tech 510 Ego Kit with Carrying Case + some juice for vaping
The INFERNO Kit Electronic Cigarettes | ECig Atomizers + some juice

I would not suggest starting with a 5v.
