Hi Everyone

Have been lurking around a bit, and thought it was time to actually join up and contribute.

I've just clocked up 7 days without analogues, and am already getting a bit of gear fever, the money I've saved not buying analogues is being quickly spent on hardware and juice!.

Thanks for having me, hope to be here a long time.

Steely

Congrats on the week. And yes, gear fever is hard to fight. I have been lucky enough to have the help of the fine folks here on ECF and did not waste much money getting to my dream setup. I started with a V2 cig-a-like, moved into eGos and then to a ProVari. I hope your transition goes as smoothly.

Look around, ask questions and do tons of research. A little advice from me, after spending several months on ECF, the best setup is the one that keeps you from smoking. Remember that and you will go far with vaping.

WARNING: starting out vaping will give you GAS. No, not that kind - this kind "Gear Acquisition Syndrome. You could very well spend the first few months finding your vaping comfort level. It is always a good idea to reach out to fellow forum members for some opinions when considering a purchase. It could save some time and money. After you have a satisfactory set up, the cost is much cheaper than analogs.

"gear fever," so that's my affliction? someone loosen up my straitjacket so I can reach the Proceed to Checkout button.

I got into vaping thinking I could lessen my intake of the nasties that come along w/using analogs AND save money. Doing great with the first part. . .not so much with the latter, at least not yet. I seem to enter a shopping fugue ("oooooo. . .sooooo preettttyyyy. . .must have. . .") with all of these new toys. <sigh> progress, not perfection!
