Hey all! I am a new member here, I've been dabbling with vaping for about a year off and on but today is my first full time day (Quit analog day YAY!)

I smoked around a pack a day for about 8-9 years. I've quit before, but it never lasted long because of anxiety issues/ panic attacks. This time, so far I've been coming off the analogs for about a week and I haven't felt a minute of panic thinking of quitting, I'm ready to change all of it for my family and my e cig is helping me, without the killer cravings and withdrawals. I also think I like vaping enough that long after I cut down the nicotine I'll probably stick with it :)

Right now I have several different Volt batteries/ carts/ clearos etc. Trying to go into bigger and better, but not positive what I wanna do yet. Your posts have given me so much info my head is swimming!

Thanks yall!

Thanks for the welcomes :) I think my biggest issue right now is whether to stick with the 808 threads when I go to a bigger battery. I've already got so much money into the smaller 808 accessories, and right now my only real issue is battery life (apparently I'm taking draws a lot more often than I'm even paying attention to)... Any suggestions/ thoughts on the threading?

I do know for sure I don't want anything too in depth (mods, variables, rebuilding things) I like my little bottom coil clearomizers and they are plenty strong on the throat hit, I am getting the beginners "sore throat"

Congratulations! I just started Vaping like a month ago now. I still. Remember how long my last 6 cigarettes lasted me one I started. It took me about a week to finish those things. I wasn't sure if I should buy a pack just in case I got stressed out or something, but I never had to. I haven't had an analog in about three weeks and I don't regret it. I don't have to worry about offending odors, or littering the ground with cig buts. It's been a great experience thus far. I wish you luck and happy vaping!

Hi, congrats on Day 1 of the rest of your life!

I would advise against sticking with the 808 threaded batteries. I know exactly where you are, I too started with 808 and had a ton of stuff I bought for them, but eventually I realized that there was so much more available for the 510 that I bit the bullet and switched. I don't know what stuff you already have as far as clearos or otherwise, but as a "general" rule, if it exists for 808 you can get it for 510 too (usually cheaper). If there is something you absolutely love and can't find in 510, there are always adapters ... Just my :2c: ... but as always ... YMMV!

HTH ... Oh, and welcome to ECF!
