Hi everyone!

Finally decided to register but I've been lurking for a few months now. I started vaping in December when I bought a Blu disposable which wasn't great but got me interested enough to start researching. My first setup has been a simple Ego Twist/EVOD or Mini Pro tank 2 setup which I received on Dec. 23. The day I got it in the mail was the last day I bought a pack of analogs. I've since converted 7 of my friends to e-cigs, and 5 of them have given up analogs completely! This is truly a wonderful thing and I just want to thank everyone here because this forum was an invaluable research tool in convincing me to skip the drug store starter kits and get something with a little more oomph.

Now I understand having backups of your backups of your backups is highly recommended, but so far I've been living dangerously with my initial setup and it's going strong, but was thinking of my next mod either being an MVP 2 or a VAMO. For now, I need to keep costs down, but I've got a decent supply of juice from MBV so my next order I should be able to afford a mod. Any suggestions between these two devices and good places to purchase one of them?

Thanks very much and I look forward to being a part of the forum! Vape on! :vapor:

I like the MVP2 because it has a great sized internal battery of 2600mAh and you don't have to buy anything but the unit. The Vamo will require you to buy batteries and a charger. With that said it'll start you on the road to other mods that require external batteries and chargers. They both offer variable voltage and wattage. The MVP2 gives a puff counter and can be used to charge other devices (pretty cool). The Vamo does have a weak point with it's threading but it can be fixed by getting a 510 adapter that you'd leave on. I have both the MVP2 and a Vamo 2 and enjoy them both.

Hi and Welcome to ECF :)

MVP2 hands down by a bazillion - best bang for your buck thats out there. Caution/Tip - do not overtighten your clearos on any battery, but especially the MVP2 (it has a deep connection well), you will depress the floating pin and its rather obnoxious to fix it all the time. If you tighten things *just* finger tight you will be good to go. Even if you depressed your pin in the past (even a lot) it will stay in place without being lifted if you dont put your topper on as if you were bolting your own safety harness :)

Happy Vaping!
