Just needed to check a few things:

1) Is this a sealed auto or an unsealed one?

2) Do I NEED to use the slim charger with this or does the Vapor King USB charger work just as well? I'm not going to use this in the US so USB makes more sense then the 2-pin slim charger.

3) Any plans for a shorty 650mah version? Because dangling a 1100mah batt from your mouth hands free sounds kinda hard to do.

Thanks.

Eiraku (sir or Ms.?)-

1. Sealed. Smilin sir worked very hard with the manufacturer on these to be sure the draw and activation is perfect though. Best airflow of any "sealed" auto I've tried, much like that of the king diamond manuals.

2. Still only set up for the slim line charger. It's the safest charger to use, not to mention it uses proper charging method for lithium batts.

3. Other sizes will be available after chinese new year, which I believe is still going on now. Just keep an eye out for them.

Hope this helps.

Speaking of chargers: On my wish list from V4L is for a new quicker charger for these DAV batteries.

The Ego battery (900mah) wasn't too bad, when empty it took me about 6-7 hours to charge. Though the same 900mah battery in the DAV series takes something like 12 hours to charge and the 1300mah DAV takes up to 18 hours to charge. If these charging times could be cut in half by a new line of chargers that would be awesome.

I am still new and trying to sift through the data. I ordered the zeus but wanted something smaller for car and maybe discrete for work. I saw something about a 650 DAV and thought that is pretty small in comparison to the zeus. But I wanted to know can you use automatic batteries with tanks? Sorry if this is a silly question but most post talk about manual batteries with tanks and just wanted to know if it was a preference or a neccessity. Sorry for typos on my phone ^_^

BadKitty, thanks for reaching out to us :). You most certainly can use the tanks with the Auto Dial-A-Volt 650mAh! It comes down to preference. With the Auto DAV and the tank you won't need any primer puffs like you would on a traditional stick batt.

Like Bham said, it's a preference thing. Just be aware that if your tank leaks into your battery it could kill it. The DAV and Zeus are sealed autos, but not impossible to kill with enough leakage. I use tanks on mine regularly and haven't killed one yet, but I also haven't had any major leaks.
