i got the idea for this from Dave so thanks Dave i call it the doohicky (thanks Clyde for the name) the meter can be found very cheap on ebay or you can pay twice as much on madvapes all you need are the meter and some wire i suggest speaker wire the first pin is the negative and the second is the positive this is a great little tester for checking the voltage on your mod batts oh ya and i use super glue to fix the wire to the pins all you have to do is cut the wire even and then push the pins inside the wire insulation then before pusing al the way add a little drop of glue and push the wires all the way on

Hmm, got an idea. I'm thinking about getting one of these and attaching the leads to the approiate contacts on my old wf-188 charger so that I can pop in a batt, and get a reading then pop it out. I usually charge 12 batts all at once, and it seems this would be an easier and faster way to check them.

I think that would work...I was thinking of doing this with one that was plugged in too but then it would measure the electrical current for the charge and not the battery unless I unplugged the AC cord each time I wanted a reading.

Thats what I did, but I just attached a second set of leads for my multi-meter.
Considering I never remember to turn the meter off its pretty much the same thing :D

linear, pulsing or switching... sometimes i just hate it, hate it, hate it

this is absolutely not meant for the messenger  on the contrary: mudflap, please hold a broken man's hand ...

If you list the mods, we can (hopefully) tell you whether or not you can use that particular voltage meter.

i just had a breakdown. where are the times when i just putted a cisco on my Reo and everything was fine? nowadays i have to struggle with a Genisis atty and because of that Genisis i had to buy a vv mod and with this vv mod, volts aren't just volts anymore. i never was an Einstein, but vaping brings me to my limits in physics, electronics, chemistry.. what will be next? astrophysics?

thanks a lot for your compassion, very nice like always :) i guess my Smok Vmax and my Smokbox Varicool are both pulsating little beasts LOL
