I would have to change my pants if I was vaping and all of a sudden hear a buzzer
going off
Would that work in a regular bat mod ?
LOL...Ordered one to try, it also has a led and you can disable the buzzer.. Have to play with it to set up the wires and switches to give me in and out readings with the buck regulator. You really don't need it with the regular protected batteries that can't be overdischarged. The Lipo RC packs are not protected.

BJ43, very strange paramerer:
Alarm set value range:OFF~2.7~3.8V
If it can be adjusted - what way? If not, too much range, seems unreliable. Anyway you can ask the seller (in my experience sellers don't know the technical specifics...)
I have friends that have used it in RC and it cks each cell in the lipo pack, you can set it to a value between 2.7 and 3.8v and if any cell gets below the set value it buzzes and the led lights.

I ask a ebay seller if his 18650 battery holders fit protected cells and his
reply was "I think so "

Great find, BJ43! I've never had occasion to use ebay, but my desire to do more modding will probably get me to use them, because they seem to have cool stuff that you can't find elsewhere. You just have to be able to find them... ;)

Subscribing to this thread, as I have my perfect VV device slowly forming in my mind, and this looks cool.

If so, this is a really great device.

Went out to the RC airfield this morning and saw 6 helicopters using this meter, talked to the owners and they really like them, the buzzer is useless but when the led lights they land and change or recharge the batteries, they like that the low voltage is adjustable as they set it fairly high to give them a reserve, it really hurts when you crash one of these RC helicopters from low batteries. Some are over $1000. Strange most hobby shops sell this meter for $9 to $14.
