Just put in an order for the Griffin... affordable price for something I've yet to try :p This new hobby is becoming quite the adventure! Can't wait to see how well (or horrible) I can build it... also got a Wyvern, sweet lookin device!

The Wyvern's do look cool don't they?! Let me know how they work. Would you be using ss mesh in them if so I would be interested to know how easy it is compared to the Phoenix

Hey guys, been awhile for me getting on here and looking thru the forums. I ran across this and figured why not try it-could be lack of sleep but the price seemed well worth a shot. I've read through most of the post and have a few different RBA's so I'm looking forward to a tank version. I haven't been sold on the mesh idea yet but after reading the posts I think I might actually try it out now. Ordered that too-Now to stalk the mailman ;)

Yea, I was trying to figure out who cornolio was, names don't match up here to orders so no way to tell :(

No griffin order was help up more than 18 hours max, all first day orders shipped next morning unless there was something special about the order, all orders are out now also, I have 5 waiting currently from 8PM on, everything else is either shipped or packaged waiting for a label.

no waits, the notice I put up wasn't needed :)

cornolio, email me, let me see what was up with your order if it went out late.

One order is being held by request it was an international order, person asked me to hold it until they order more items to save shipping.

It's been a long couple of days...
Order # was 10040.like i said,no biggie.i know youre busy.its on its way now with tracking.thanks

My package hit the BTR P.O. @ ~1am, which means at minimum it's in LAF now (15mi away). Hell, it could even be at the local P.O. by now, but I still won't see it 'til Monday. :(

I ordered a couple Wed. evening after they came in. USPS shows that they got the package on Wed, but actually shipped on Thursday. They won't be here 'til Monday. Darn USPS. Still... CT to LA in 3 'working' days isn't terrible.

The whole point of the mesh is to get you a 'cleaner, tastier' vape. Otherwise, you could just stick w/ CE2 style tanks. Besides the mesh is really easy to get set up. My very first time took me less than 20 min total (including oxidizing & wrapping).
My dos centavos anyway.

Can these be rebuilt with standard silica wick? I'm not sure I want to start messing with SS mesh yet.

I've read that some people change it weekly, others monthly, and the rest when it gets gunked up. But, you can clean the mesh w/o too much trouble. So, theoretically, it could last months. I plan on finding out. :)

Any idea how long the SS wick that it comes with lasts?

I have been told essentially "forever" (relatively speaking) as long as the mesh is not damaged, they can be cleaned and should be good as new when cleaned and oxidized, I am pretty sure this is what LD told me, but I am not an expert and my memory is sometimes not all that great, I am sure he'll chime in if he sees this..

Thanks for all the help the other day guys. I actually got it working properly before most of you reponded. Funny, when you decide you need help you finally get it. So far so good, just need to tilt it a little when chain vaping so it wicks a little faster but that's my only beef with it now, and from what i can tell that's just a common with stainless steel mesh genesis style vaping in general. Still great flavor and nicotine delivery. Would highly recommend this to others. In fact, eventually i may order another. Can't wait til those clear tanks for them are out! Enjoy guys!

I take back all the harrumphing I was doing about the USPS. :censored: The local P.O. managed to get my new Griffins into my rural letter carrier's hands for delivery today. :mail: And she delivered.

Since I need to break these down & wash 'em anyway, now's the time to give the syringe tank a go.:banana::banana: :D

Jealously rears its ugly head... grrrrr

edit: Now I remember the impetus for my purchase... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/337076-ok-pulled-trigger-question.html#post7358926

I blame you Count ;)
