Just a reminder from all of us folks that are following EVERY word of this forum. We or at least I am in need of some pictures every once in a while when you discover something you feel is worth sharing. At the moment all I am able to do is stock up on things everyone is talking about. That includes adding all of the linked videos to my fav's list. So, if you do come up with something you want to show off, please give us true rba Rookies something we can drool over and learn from.

I'm hoping to get to home depot to get some o-rings in the next day or so. When I get it going I'll take some pics for ya;)

I found a way to hold my griffin without it leaking (when full)

My VapeTray!

You need to use a 510 to eGo adapter on it to hold it as it does not fit the hole, but it's a fairly easy solution if you have trouble storing the Griffin.

I may have to get one of those & bore the holes out to 17mm for a "drop-in" fit. :)

Like all genesis-style atty/tanks, the design is such that they're prone to leaking if not stored upright. Even if all the holes are plugged, the wick itself is a leak point.

Uh oh, does that mean the Griffin isn't going to be good to carry around in my pocket?

Griffin Tubing.jpg

Here is the 10 ml syringe tubing that I had. Initially I had cut it to 25.5 mm and it worked sometimes. I thought I had a short, but found out that I didn't have a good contact from the negative side of the base to the top section. After reading some threads elsewhere a few of them were having the same problem. The outer tube of the center post must make contact with the base of the top section to complete the circuit. I sanded the tubing down to 25 ml and haven't had any problems since. I have vaped two tanks of juice through it since then without a problem. It sure is nice knowing when to fill the tank!

I haven't had a problem with carrying the Griffin setup in my shirt pocket, but you have to make sure it stays mostly upright. My concern would be bending over and folks there is Griffin taking a dive for the pavement! I have been lucky so far. :p
