I say if they are set up right with a proper coil & wick the are going to preform the same, flavor throat hit & vapor wise. But I do prefer the Tiamat in appearance it just looks so cool on my Provari and also for the clear tank I have the metal tank on my Griffin ( DiD ) and its nice to see the juice level. But if one is to big or to heavy or one is to small or you want a certain look pick the one that most appeals to you in the end they all work the same and you cant go wrong with any of the three. Hope this helps.

So my clear tank Griffin leaks right out of the box.... and the clear tank replacement for my metal tank Griffin is too tight and shredded my o-ring trying to put it on.. Pretty bummed. Any suggestions?

Get an Ideal 12mm syringe. You can get 3 out of 1 syringe and they fit tight enough to use without o-rings. I have these on all 3 of mine and they work out well.

Im using 3.5cm by 7cm, ut im rolling it pretty tight and its slightly loose in the wick hole to allow air to escape.

What measurements does the mesh cut need to be for this Griffin? I can't be wasting any, I only have a little.

Also, does anyone know what grade mesh came with it?

Thanks

Thank you.

Also, I took it apart to clean it, and can't seem to remember which way these screwed back on.

There's a slight difference, depending on which way I face it before screwing it back on... Does it matter?

So I have been messing with the Griffin for about a week and I have been having the usual hot spot at the top coil issue. The one that I recieved has the negative screw that is stripped and I haven't seen anyone post which ones to get to replace it. I found some of the size I think, but I'm not sure if they will work. Does anyone know if these are the right ones, they seem like they might be too long:

M2-0.4x4 DIN912 A-2 Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screw | Fastenal

If not does anyone know where to get them? I have been trying to double wrap the coil around the neg. screw and just pushing it in the neg hole, it has worked so far, but I don't know if this might be the cause of some of the trouble I am having or not. I will just keep on trying til I get this right.

I went to my local Hobby Lobby and got some screws that are the right size and thread count. That was after I went to Radio Shack and picked up some 2-56 but were course instead of fine cut. It's always nice to have extra ones around as I've lost a couple on the floor because they are so dang small.

I think it's 325 mesh & nichrome (don't know the gauge). It's been the same in all 5 I've purchased.

HTH!

What kind of wire and ss mesh come with this Griffin? The bag is not labeled, several of my bags are not labeled, so now I've mixed them up and don't know which is which.

I tried to edit post but it created a new one? Oh well, it won't let me delete the other one. Sorry.
