It is however bitterly cold, we're having a frigid winter this year ... must have gotten down to a bone chilling 50 degrees last night .. brrrrr.

In Cali we call rain "Lawyer Weather", it's like a national holiday for them, all the oil comes up to the surface on the roads .. it's almost like black ice.
Add to that the fact that we have some of the worst (... if not the worst) drivers you ever imagined. When it rains half the people drive as if it was a normal dry day and the other half slow down to about 5 mph ... you get the picture.
