Peter, I do believe we spoke on the phone last summer, outstanding progress.... well done.

Question: did you select which VV electronics to use?

Well that's what I'm in the process of, I have 3 in mind all different prices the most is 40$ a peice which is a bit steep but the battery life will ne amazing ,

As I am caught between keeping it under 100 and good battery life I'm just torn. I did contact someone to build the boards for me but it dint turn out as promising as I hoped .

My biggest cocern besides price is size the more expensive one is a bit bigger then what I put in the vv I gave to friends and family and well size is the comfortable part . I am going to talk with a few more people about the vv and see if I can get a little help to take the load off me..

If any one knows someone who has free time to build have them contact me and maybe we can speed up this process

I'm a Marketing guy and while also a computer geek, a soldering iron in my hand will bring Fire Trucks.

Always the #1 Tradeoff when designing something : Cost vs. Awesome-ness, never an easy answer.

Am I wrong? (probably) : I thought TI had a $8 VV PCB ?

who is TI and where is this $8 board????

I built a personaly chef a Sp and he asked me to make him a knife handle like a tactical survival knife he has and this is what I made, instead of using black paint I burned the black line's into the handle

TI=Texas Instruments ;
a massive maker of electronics. If you are old enough, they made the famous TI Calculators, the infamous TI 99/4a Home Computer .

I recall reading out this particular PCB on one of the mod threads but I just checked, I didn't bookmark it as I don't do any mods myself due to lack of electronics skill. Just something I recalled reading about some time ago

Lovely !

but where's the 510 atty thread with the flat battery buried in the wood handle? :)

Then you could take this to the movie theater and stealth vape and I dont think the 19yr old usher (upon seeing the knife blade) will try and take it from you ::)

So I probly get two emails a day about Vv and as Mich as I wish I offer it right now I don't. But .. there is always a but . I have on its way a new vv board that will give Lo.g battery life and its a smaller size then what I was going to use. So it should show up this week I will make one box the size to fit and go from there
