[FONT="]Figured I would introduce myself since I found this great site and have been lurking/educating myself for a few days now. I figured while I'm at it I might as well also offer my initial impressions as a new vapor user while going through the process rather than by reflecting back on it at a later date in order to be able to compare my views on this exciting new opportunity to inhale a new product into my lungs.

I’m a 20 year, 2 pack a day smoker and also a connoisseur of fine cigars. Basically, I love everything that has to do with smoking. I also own several MMORPG game sites and various forums for my many other hobbies so when I read about these in one of my member forum posts I was naturally curious. HAHA....the perfect thing for a smoking addict and techno geek.

Anyway, I ordered a Smoke51 kit and some carts to try it out. OF course as soon as I brought it home my wife though it was the greatest thing since sliced bread since she has been on a "we need to Quit smoking kick" for quite some time. So of course another order was places before she even finished her first cart.

Initial Impressions:
1. Total Excitement - Of course as a smoker the lure of being able to smoke something that isn’t "guaranteed" to take 15 minutes off your life with each use is a big anticipation builder. I found myself following the shipping info site like It was a sports update page till my product finally arrived.
2. First Drag - OF course the moment of truth is when you take your first inhale, so I wont bore anyone with all the details of reading all the stuff leading up to finally having the battery at full charge and ready to go. The moment you take your first drag YOU KNOW that this isn’t a cigarette!!!! or I guess a more accurate description would be that this isn't your brand of cigarettes you are accustomed too....I liken it to when your seriously nic'n and you bum a cig from someone.....you dont dislike it and know your gonna keep draggin on it till you craving subsides...but, can tell its not what your used to.
3. Beginning use - For myself, the initial "let down" of it not being a real cigarette only lasted till my next "vaping" session. I "rationally" knew going into it that it was to good to be true that it would be identical to a real cig, but I can't see how anyone who is a smoker can't in the back of their mind have the hope and dream that it really is gonna be indistinguishable from their real cig but without the cancer. SO with the initial "revelation" out of the way the real evaluation of it for me began. Since I smoke different ways other than just cigarettes it was easy to get into the mode of this is just another product to try out and see if I like. I found the first couple of days I had only 1 regular cig ,while waiting between a forgot to recharge moment of the batts. I found myself using the e-cig as much to explore the different flavor/feel of of something new as well as trying to maximize learning how to most effectively dispense the Vapor.
4. Getting Into IT - I am now currently in what im calling the getting into mode. I have gotten to the point where the actual "vaping" of the device is getting to be a familiar sensation and find myself slowly enjoying it more and more. As I mentioned earlier I like everything smoking related so I’m not gonna lie and say I don’t want to smoke real tobacco anymore at this time. What I do find at the current moment is that I am starting to like this just as much as regular tobacco. I am starting to really enjoy the much cleaner taste of the vapor and all the non-smoking related aspects attached to it. I still enjoy the few regular cigarettes I have smoked while actually smoking them, but in the last few days of head to head comparison now think the flavor of the e-cig is a bit better and definitely feels ALOT crisper, if that makes sense? I can also tell i have made a HUGE switch in my thinking from "is this better than my regular cigs" to a "How can i increase my vaping enjoyment" which has lead me to scouring this website like I was studying for a E-cig test or something and made the jump to order a 901 , lots of parts and actual e-juice which should be in this coming week. As well as putting together my list of goodies, ingredients, tools, and all the other paraphernalia to buy in order to take this to the next level.

Well that’s how I stand at this current moment. I cant wait for my next order to come in so I can start experimenting with dripping and making my own nic juice concoctions as well as making my own smoking devices. I forgot to mention that one of my hobbies is RC rock crawling and already have the urge to solder together a 2200mah, 15 minute charge, user selectable ccBEC device with passthru plug that can also be hooked to any battery up to 24 volts for non stop power vaping. (OMG just realized reading back thru this i have a new obsession. :( )

Ummm....Please, read your e-cig spec before you try to hook it up to a higher voltage battery or power source. Factory spec for most of these e-cig are between 3.6 - 4.2 volts. Putting higher power source to your e-cig will lead to potential burn of your atomizer and/or burn your e-liquid. Burnt e-liquid = not good.
Btw, congrat on your first e-cig, be safe and happy vaping.
