Yes, I've only been vaping for 5 days now, and yet I'm already on a forum. Never cared to be a part of a forum before, but I can't help but express how much I love this! My husband and I are....were....smokers until our state (Illinois) implemented a new tax increase which made our smokes almost and sometimes over $7/pack. My husband said enough, and bought an ego-T kit, which came in last Saturday. We both smoked our last analogue that day and have both been obsessed with how much we love vaping! We never thought we would ever quit, and although we weren't convinced we would stop smoking completely with this, we now can't imagine ever buying another pack. I have my own ego-t kit on order and hope it comes in soon, as my gracious husband has been letting me use one of his batteries until mine come in. I've been trying to educate myself on the equipment, juices, etc. and it's been fun reading what other people have been doing. We know no other person that vapes, but hope that we can't get the ball rolling amongst our circle of friends (who are almost all smokers). I hope to be an active part of this forum in the future and look forward to reading more while I continue this new journey!

I came to vaping from advice from my doctor, it took instantly for me and I haven't had a cig in nearly a year. Vaping went from replacing a bad habit to becoming a hobby for myself. If you would like to meet other vapers, try looking in the social groups section Social Group Forums . Enjoy the forums, I know I sure do :D

Nice...so glad to hear! I'm from Ca but by favorite supplier is out of Illinois, VaporBeast! I think that is where you are from right CathyL? http://www.vaporbeast.com/

Have fun, so much to learn and experiment with. Your new hobby will not only be a life saver for you, but also a fun hobby! :) Please feel free to ask as many questions as needed, as many of us are happy to help.

CathyL,
You found a great place and will be sooo glad you started vaping. The first couple weeks were the hardest for me. From there you just learn and get better hardware and search out your favorite juices. After a couple weeks of vaping tobacco juices started tasting nasty to me and analog smoke smelled terrible. After 4 weeks my taste is a lot better, I no longer snore and my teeth are slowly getting whiter. I am also feeling better and don't get out of breath as easily. Feel free to ask any questions and just concentrate on staying away from analogs. Before you know it months will go by and you'll be a seasoned vaper. If you sneak a cigarette don't beat yourself up just go right back to vaping. So nice to hear stories like yours.
