Hello everyone, my name is Alexander. About 2 months ago I broke up with a girl with whom I lived for 2 years together, I already made plans for the future, I wanted to make her an offer to marry me, but somehow suddenly my life that I thought was stable went to pieces.
It turned out that she lived with me only out of habit since she was just comfortable with me. I cleaned, cooked, helped as much as I could. And two months ago she just said that she fell in love with another and everything ended between us.

At first, I was not myself, I fell into apathy (and now I have not completely got rid of it yet). However, I decided that it was time to change something. I quit smoking (I smoke since the first year of university), I changed my hairstyle, I finally decided to do tattoo (on Monday I will have my first session, hey hey!)

Of course, at the beginning I wanted to smoke very much, I did not really trust the new-fashioned e-cigarets, but I bought myself a small Smoke Stick. And I suddenly liked it. Sometimes I still want to smoke a cigarette, but I get help from the electric one. What is most interesting now if I smell smoke - it becomes unpleasant for me.

Here I not so much to discuss cigarettes, how many for communicating.
Although... I can discuss cigarettes with my pride))
That's how it is. Have good and reliable people beside you!

Welcome to the ECF community. Might help to use the term smoking when talking about cigs and the term vapor or vaping when talking about e-cigs or mods/tanks. Lot of good people here, hope you enjoy your time with us.
Thank you for tips, and sorry, not used yet to speak and write properly about e-cigs

Welcome to ECF, sorry to hear of your troubles, but I'm glad you were able to make something positive from them. Welcome to ECF and glad you are here, and have started vaping! Congratulations and I hope you find the right information and support at ECF.

Anna
Thanks for the kind words. I understand that a man should be strong and all of that, but for now it's quite difficult. Watching the clubs of the vape, by the way, helps to calm down: D

Eh, been married and divorced.
Thank God and Greyhound she's gone...I'm better off.

10+ years of what ifs, wondering and beating myself up over it I realized I'm better than that. Forgave her, myself, remarried and focused on just being me. For better or worse (often worse) I am what I am. You'll get there.

Welcome to ECF.

I got pregnant at 22, married at 23.5 and divorced... at like 25. You know, for such a short marriage, it was REALLY expensive, and I'm not talking about the wedding (which my mother insisted on planning and I really wish I had that money BACK) to pay for all the custody stuff and whatnot. The crazy thing is the entire time I was doing it, I was like, "Why am I doing this?" (Well, getting pregnant was accidental, but all De Familias wanted us to put a ring on it.) What a waste of time, money, and effort, I would have been better off quietly saying nothing and fleeing to another state after I peed on the stick....

So, I know it totally sucks NOW, but there will come a time when you meet the Right Person (I did) and you will look back and realize how unhappy you were and (probably) how ill suited you were for each other. That time is not now, so grieve until you feel better, or whatever you need to do (I did a couple years marriage counseling "penance" before I was willing to get divorced, but once I realized that I had fonder feelings for my marriage counselor than my EX and she was a chick???....) I can almost guarantee you'll do better for yourself down the road.

I meet very few people actually still pining for the "One that got away." Like, almost 0%, after an appropriate mourning period....

I feel for ya, though, and be as miserable as you need to right now. :)

I agree 100%, I quit smoking cigarettes 15 days ago, and started with a little all in one, then I got a Smok sub king and then a Smok t-priv. I am really happy with them, I just am having trouble finding juices I like. Once I get that part down I will be much better. Back to not smoking cigarettes, the smell is super duper gross. I haven't ever liked it to tell you the truth, after smoking I would chew gum, wash my hands and I always smoked as far away from everyone as possible. I haven't ever been comfortable with the smell.

Greetings Kak. Welcome to ECF.
The longer you go w/o smokes the worse the smell of ciggies will seem.
if you haven't started expectorating crud already you soon will. Your tongue will get a funky white coating on it.
That's caused by two things..one is vapers tongue which happens if you vape too much
but the other and main cause is your body getting rid of the cigarette toxins.

You may find yourself being thirsty a lot. That's normal..drink plenty of water,
coconut juice or water is great for staying hydrated.
Remember that the mucous membranes in your mouth ingest nicotine
so you don't have to inhale..

There are many flavors to choose from to keep you entertained trying them
but you'll never really be satisfied until you mix your own juice...DIY is the most
economic way to vape and you can customize your juice to your exact taste..

Whatever you do don't go back to smoking..Stay Healthy and Vape On!

Hazy
