Absolutely had the worst types of coughs..Also took me awhile to figure out the inhalation of my e-cig. Not too hard, not too soft..
Now I make sure I have my ice tea sitting next to me to avoid dry throat symdrome...

Hello all. I've been lurking here for about a week myself hunting through all the information I could to find the best starter e-cig. Thanks to everyone here for providing so much info. After much debating I decided to get the VX2 just like Brian. You're going to love it. Just a heads up the primer fluid was pretty nasty to me.
Sadly I have an issue with my charger but it's being taken care of. Big thumbs up to Shawn at LiteCigUSA for all the help and fast responses. After being able to use my VX2 for a day I just couldn't bare to go back to analogs so I picked up a Smoking Everywhere starter kit to use until the new charger gets here. After that it'll be shelved as a back up. So just like imahuph I'm guilty of being impatient.
So once again thank you to everyone here for being so helpful and for helping me find this wonderful device. Hopefully some of the some of the things I've learned can be used to help others.

I know this is probably not a question right for this thread but... Im a kidney transplant patient and i heard that PG can cause kidney damage is this true and if so should i just vape VG instead?

I live in Madison as well. I have only been vaping a couple of weeks myself.
I got my husband started this weekend. I have got al ot of flavors coming in the mail, maybe we can trade flavors, I agree with you that Cherry is gross, but my husband does not seem to mind it.

Having a backup is always good. I have learned that any piece can and will eventually fail. I let people who might be interested use my old rn-4081 to see if they like it or at least the thought of it...
and let's not mention the liquid in the mouth thing - for as good as this stuff tastes when you vaporize it, it's awful when you get a mouthful of liquid!!! Hmmm, maybe that's why I didn't get into the cherry - that's what I got a mouthful of.
I did that my first morning in the car going to work...I didn't vape ofr the rest of that day, I was afraid I'd ruined the thing. I still had ciggies, so I was ok.
But now no more smellysticks for me!!!

The old juice in the mouth thing. I almost ruined the entire thing for me. I cannot stand the french pipe flavor now because of it..O well..I think the fact that this takes some getting used to, makes it a better replacement for analogs..If it was easy, it might have lost some of its appeal...

I can understand your concern, being a transplant patient. So I did a quick search. While looking at this page I didn't see anything relating to kidney damage. Where did you hear it?

It's worth questioning your doctor about I'd guess. If you're going to smoke one way or another. Seems I heard that cigarettes also contain PG. And yes, there is always VG to use instead.

Great idea... and yes i agree its always nice to have options... and if PG is in cigarettes and it hasn't given me a problem now it probably isn't going too.. but im going to order VG just incase. Thank you very much for all ur help e-cigarette-forum.com is a great site extremely helpful!!

thats another reason i would switch... I've seen some video's on YouTube that VG produces more vapor then PG which is really good
