Hey guys,

I just started vaping late January 2013 and I've had maybe 10 analogs in that time. The more I vape, the less attractive an analog seems and the worse they taste.

I started with BluCigs about a year and a half ago and quickly gave up on them. Fast forward to late Jan, 2013, a friend of mine then got into vaping and helpfully wrote up for me a detailed summary of the basics of vaping with better gear. Soon after that I purchased a pair of eGo-C Twists, a few mini Vivi Novas, and a standard size Vivi Nova as well as 5 flavors from Mount Baker Vapor.

Now I'm vaping on a Vamo v2, got a few more vivi novas and about 30 flavors from MBV.

I'm also building an knowledge-base website that has hardware reviews, a glossary of vaping terms, and articles/tutorials/info about vaping for the new vapor. The site will also have a limited store with some of the more basic items for the beginning, intermediate, and advanced vaper. I am a software engineer by trade and I wanted to merge my love for vaping and my love for web development into an awesome-amalgamation of PASSION

I'm anxious to become a member of the ECF community and I hope to learn a lot from its members about all things vaping-related. I especially would love to learn about how some of the other webmasters and vendors handle theire projects.

Glad to be here!

Tim

Thanks guys!

Is there a specific area of the forum dedicated to vendors or something? I looked but couldn't find anything.

I'm looking for other online retailers so I can ask them questions about the industry and such. I'm also looking for reliable wholesalers to buy my initial stock from. It seems like China has the best prices so far and since my goal is really to educate new vapers and pass the savings on to them, I'm only going to have a very small stock of the items and accessories to get someone up-and-running quickly. However, I'd much rather work with a vendor in the US or at least a broker in the US that can help with the purchase and shipping from China. Plus, there are SO many vendors in China that I don't know which are reliable/trustworthy/quality.

A few questions I have revolve around build quality of batteries and clearomizers based on brand name... For example, is Joyetech really the only reliable manufacturer of the eGo-C Twist or is it just something like how people want to buy Coca Cola brand soda instead of Shop Rite Brand. Same question for the Vision and the Vivi Nova Clearos.

I know these questions don't belong here but I was thinking/hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction, either to the correct sub-forum, or a user that I can talk to, or even an another website that I can learn from.

Anyway...! Thanks again for the welcom. Glad to be here and I'll surely keep everyone updated.

Thanks,
Tim
