Hi!
I'm 27 and have been smoking Parliament lights (~1pk/day) for 9 years; my husband's also 27, has smoked Camel lights (~1pk/day) for 10-11 years. Yesterday, he bought an e-cig (disposable blu, classic tobacco flavor), we tried it out, and I'm very intrigued.
I bought my own on the way to work this morning and have been enjoying it in my office. I'm still going out for smoke breaks for my Parliaments, but I definitely see the massive value of e-cigs. I enjoy the act of smoking and the effects of nicotine, but I always imagined I would quit around age 30 for health reasons. With e-cigs, I see the possibility of not giving up many things I love about smoking -- while getting rid of all of the negatives in terms of both health and vanity (smell, ash/butts mess, long-term effects on teeth/skin).
So I joined this forum and am excited to begin exploring the wealth of information here. I imagine I will soon purchase a re-chargeable e-cig (sorry if I don't know the right lingo yet) and perhaps begin to phase out my Parliaments.
