Introduing Myself :)

As a 30+ year smoker of 2-3 packs a day. Over the years trying and trying to quit (Most I went was a month). Once I found out about vaping I got myself a nice set-up and never looked back. The important thing is to get yourself over the "Hump" of the cravings. Although I do still have 24-36mg nic in my liquid so it made my transition easier. Now vaping is a hobby and whenever I run into someone smoking the smell repulses me. I just take my Silver Bullet out and take a nice huge hit and walk away with a smile on my face.

Ha!! Yes, when I quit in 2010 (for two months), I remember being disgusted by the smell, too... It was to the point where I realized I was passing judgment on smokers! lol... what I hypocrite I was, right? I have a feeling I'll be in the same mode soon. I will check myself, though, when passing judgment... and I will be informing everyone of the vaping alternative... I'll probably end up being quite annoying. ;) But if I can turn one person away from smoking, it is worth it! :D

Welcome to the forum, Jennifer. Don't hammer yourself over the head about smoking. Instead, concentrate on your vaping, your equipment, your juices, and of course, the support of all on here. I guarantee that getting the right setups, which is half the fun of vaping, you will find yourself smoking less and less, and maybe even find you don't even WANT the smokes. Any help or questions you need with, don't hesitate to ask. We are with you :)

Hey! The Yosemite Sam avatar is so funny. :p Gotta love him! Thank you for welcoming me and for reminding me not to beat myself up. I have a tendency to do that, no matter what I do in life. I know I will be a former smoker soon, and I truly believe that. I just have to remember to be kind to myself. :)

Keep at it and you will find your desire for analogs will most likely disappear! Good luck!

Awesome! And I believe you're right. I realize, each time I light up an analog, that I am not keen on the flavor as much now. I actually prefer my vapor flavors over a real cig. Not sure why that doesn't seem to be enough reason to just put the cigs down altogether... but it is promising that I feel that way, I think!

to ecf Jennifer. So glad you are here. I absolutely love vaping so I am very happy that you are giving it another try. Good luck to you and I hope to read more posts about your success. One thing for sure, you are now a part of the world's largest support group. :D Happy vaping. :)

Awww, cute pic. :) Thanks for the warm welcome!

Welcome, Im a 37 year old total vape newbie that has smoked analogs for 25 years and have vowed to quit completely or try something else. In the few days I have vaped
I have only had 4 analogs which is down from 20+ a day. The best part for me so far is trying out new flavors of juice whereas I was smoking the same ole analogs and stuck with the solo yucky flavor. I have spent alot of money the past week but it will be cheaper than analogs in the long run and better for my health as well. Good luck and Happy Vaping!

Hey there! Congrats on the switch to vaping! I knew that when I started my vaping again, I would definitely join here. And I'm so glad I did!! And glad you did as well! We're kind of taking this journey together! :)

Hello jen. Im new to the forum myself but googled it probably a hundred times in the past. But my experience was a lil different. I tried to just replace my marlboros with an e cig same flavor and all. Long story short didnt work. Tried again this time with a fruit flavor and a vanilla custard thing and six months later I havent had one cigarette and dont miss them at all. Hope it helps

Like you, I have landed on this forum many times, thanks to google. :) Congrats to your quitting smoking!I hope to say the same very soon!

Woot! Yup! I did end up having 1 more, right before bed. But 5 cigs is still fewer than any normal day in the life of moi.... haha! I'm pleased with my progress. :D
Definitely be pleased! When I was tapering fown from cigs, I was so proud when I only smoked 5 for the day. I slowly worked down to only having one at my favorite times to smoke; 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening after dinner. My hardest part was to give up that morning cig! Lol I got there though, and have not touched a cigarette since. For the longest time I could not be around cigarettes after I quit smoking, because I did not want to tempt myself. I can be around them now and not be tempted at all :)
