Hey MWA! This is mainly directed at you because I know you tried (developed?) it. But I'd like to hear from anybody else that's tried it.

I think this would be the best place to have this discussion.

So, MWA, I saw your video. I'd really like to know how the io6 in a lava tank performed long term. I read something somewhere that you changed either the atty? Or the tank you were using?

Let us know how it worked out. Is it a feasable solution?

I for one love the hit and flavor from the io6, but just can't be dripping all the time.

Very interested!!!!!

It works, you may sometimes get some drippage from the leftover liquid left in the Atty out of the bottom hole though, If using a mod with a catch cup no big deal, if not, when you are done vaping take a few real light vapes trying to just clear enough liquid from your Atty. when totally done you may want to just blow out the tank from the top to get rid of that extra liquid.

Pretty much any Atty will do this in a tank, what is needed is a small collector tank on the bottom, just a small twist on 3/8 sized deep well or so collector tank with an adapter to make connection.

Another thing I did was switched from the stock cart to an Iken I06 Drip tip cut down to fit in the Lava or you can use the whole I06 Drip tip in another type of tank, and make your small holes in the I06 Drip tip in the same place as I show on the stock cart. I fine this works much better then the stock orange I06 cart it comes with.

Hope that helps

Thanks MWA. That does help. That's exactly what I was concerned about. I couldn't understand how with no filler to "hold" the juice, it could keep from dripping too much. My issue is that I'm never really "done vaping". I want it to be there constantly and not have to worry about the excess drip-age. I wonder if some kind of filler inside the stock cart or cut down io6 DT would help "slow the flow" to the atty.

Something like what I've read about with atty and cartridge setups? Kind of turning it into a carto. I don't know atty's that well, but I'm thinking something sitting right on top of it would burn. But, isn't that what the atty/cartridge combo is? I may try filling is with something. I always read about the tea bag, the blue foam, etc..

I really like the performance of the 1.5 io6. But, I really have to have carto convenience (with a tank now! I'm spoiled).

If Isaac could just make the clear 1.6's in a SS carto I'd be set I think!!! (hint)

Thanks for your help MWA. I have a couple io6's that I still can't get to work consistently on their own. But, when I get it right, they ROCK!

I keep reading about this i06 tank since Iken was down, and finally decided to get an i06 with a drip tip...
I have a Big Daddy 5ml Tank... Do you know if the I06 w/ Drip tip is long enough to go through the top of the tank?
Or will i have to shave it down or get a little mamma 3ml tank...

I wouldn't ask, but im excited and I have no way to measure it bc i do not have an I06 ... yet!
